Howl-O-Scream 2013: Rumors Have a Way of Spreading

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2013: Fear Has a Way of Spreading

I would think that this was footage from last year since it's the last weekend of September. Did the Travel Channel come to HOS last year?

We were there the first weekend in October and there was a film crew taping a group of teens/early 20's getting off of Griffon. Was funny cause they werent showing enough excitement and they made them do it over and over.

Anyway, yes, I think Travel Channel was at HOS last year.

Hey CK, I win

Also, I was riding log flume and saw a few skeletal piratey looking props, too far to snap a pic.

Man, covering up that photo op is almost as bad as getting rid of the wine stomping photo op.

And to my dismay, the GLOW BOOTH is being set up. The event is RUINED.

This is in Germany, in Rhinefeld, idk what it is...

"Fashion???"

Yes, that is exactly what comes to mind, when I think about amusement park stores.

OK. I am aware of the fear and loathing felt toward Glow Stands on the Forum. But they aren't entirely the work of the devil! I sometimes enjoy getting a glowy thing to play with in the car ride home. Does the park need massive islands of flashing, plastic junk? Probably not. But a few glow stands are fun and generate much-needed revenue.

For those interested the creatures are as such:

Demon-graphic Dan ~ Dan Dipiazzo, VP of Marketing, not sure if I spelled his last name right?
Johnny the Clown ~ John Harris, VP of Human Resources
Larry the Troll ~ Larry Giles, VP of Design and Engineering
Mad Mark ~ Mark Pauls, VP of Park Operations
Fred Escare Scott ~ Scott Gasparich, VP of Entertainment
Carl the Tall ~ Carl Lum, Park President

These ones had nameplates, but due to them being relocated to new departments, their nameplates have such been removed since new ones have not been made.

Seedy Jeff ~ Jeff Thomas, currently VP of Water Country USA, previously VP of Culinary
Freaky Franz ~ Franz Kintento, currently VP of Culinary, previously VP of Merchandise
Hal Haypenny ~ Hal (Last name unknown), previously VP of Finance was replaced

Sometimes, I imagine these are the real executives running the park :S

Just so you guys know, from my understanding there is no glow booth. The booth being set-up where the grape stomping photo op is; is the pirate bar with mixed rum drinks. This coming from Zach.

Also, crows will be in England, just not as many as previously.

I think the carousel photo op is going to turn into a Lady of the Gardens photo op, possibly.

Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna be in the park this sat and Sunday can't wait to grab some pre HOS PICS. Scott's should of been like THE JACKAL or faceless minion just because I hear how he is always put down and trust I've heard the stuff he has done. Thanks for the post you guys here at BGWFANS ROCK, wish when I was in BGT some of the people who posted in blogs and such were like you guys

I think the carousel photo op is going to turn into a Lady of the Gardens photo op, possibly.

While I'm not ruling the possibility out, but why would they have the photo op way over by the Carousel, instead of closer to the house itself. Not part of the maze like last year, but near it.

Considering, that whole area is supposed to be themed to Vampires.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2013: Fear Has a Way of Spreading

Well from what earlier rumors about the vampire dine stated, was the Lady of the Gardens would be inviting guests to this Vampire dine, and I am putting one and two together.

Although, putting it right across the pathway makes just as much sense.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2013: Fear Has a Way of Spreading

Because nothing says "Dinging with a Vampire" like having a zombie garden lady involved.

And if it was for the dining experience, she would be inside the dining area, not having a photo op outside near the carousel. This isn't Disney World.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2013: Fear Has a Way of Spreading

That really isn't far from the maze entrance. 100 ft maybe?
