Carowinds has a photo op as you first go into a house there called Silver Scream Cinema. Really clogs things up. Also kills the atmosphere, stopping to pose going in and then being shouted at to buy it coming out. First they take a normal pose, then blast air at you to "shock" you for the second shot. Being shocked rarely turns out. They have an outside company do all photos in the park.
BTW, with this company you can get your photos on a USB drive and add photos to it all year at a reduced price. You can also go online with a code to see most of your photos and order pics from home.

Argh ye mates! There is still more to come, thee gallows and stocks have yet to be put up for yer picture takin' pleasure!
Yes they park will have actual stocks and gallows (hanging device) for decor and possibly a photo op.
CK, I understand the thinking there. Halloween is a surprisingly long way away; however the event starts so soon and why? Because they are a business trying to expand the season for money. It is no different than Wal-Mart selling Halloween decor and costumes now. Stores are notorious for their Seasonal sections that literally jump from holiday to holiday and try to expand the holidays. Just think once Halloween ends, stores completely ignore Thanksgiving and jump straight to Christmas. Why, even Busch Gardens does that.

However, as much as it would be nice to see a NORMAL BGW for once, I suppose I'd rather have HOS ready to go on day one instead of being five weeks late. That being said, if The Italian Instrumental Quartet is gonna be playing in San Marco Theater, I'd prefer not to see skeletons and mummies behind them.

I really like the half-ship/ghost ship, but the mast looks a bit like a gigantic butter churn.
