More seriously, thanks CK and DTBGWF (I need a better acronym for you) for the pics. I haven't been to the park this year, so I've been living vicariously through this site.
I'm honestly a bit confused about how Captain Barghbie’s Booty™ is going to work- is that going to be a shop as well as drinks in one? It seems like a small spot for both of those based off of the pics that were posted a few posts up. Any chance they expand into the capodimonte shop?
As far as the DJ/Aquitaine- not going to go to far in-depth into my like/dislike of it, but based on the pic Zachary posted on the main page update of Voila's! archway.....metal scaffolding seems to support a demon-DJ theme and I can see them re-using all of the leftover KK scaffolding as well. I would really like to wrong on this though.

If they do have a photo op with the Lady of the Gardens I really think it would be cool to snap a pic with her.
That is what I thought they were doing last year at the beginning of Root of all Evil when they did that photo op before the maze. They really need to have her somewhere for all to see and not roaming in her maze and only a few might see her.
But the pictures look great. Can't wait to see how all the terror-tories turn out.

Yeah but how far away is the maze entrance from the actual maze. It would just make more sense to put a photo op closer the to house, rather than 100ft from the entrance, that you then have to walk even farther to get to the house.

Technically the photo op wouldn't be far from the entrance to the queue, the queue is the largest queue in the entire park It would be like how you pick up photos at the small building just outside the exit of Pompeii.

Don't forget they have the optional photo-op in front of the maze ENTRANCE. We did it a couple times, but the flash makes you go blind for about two hours. Maybe that's why you couldn't see where you were going.

I actually think haunted house photos are a great idea, but they should have the camera placed within the house, probably towards the end, much like a ride camera.
However, as PK mentioned earlier it doesn't sound like it will be a photo op. I have a few other guesses but I'm just going to wait and see how things play out.

I really didn't like having the photo op right at the beginning of the maze, I felt like it took even longer to get through that line, because they would have to separate the people who want pictures from the people who don't.
PR, They should only do the photo at the end of the house if they are sending in small evenly spaced out groups, and have a really effective scare at the end. Because otherwise, you'll just have a mass of people that you don't know in your picture, or you'll just have really bored looks.

I would venture to say they could have a scare actor separate parties. For example, as soon as one Group A gets in front of the camera unknowingly, a scare actor will get in front of Group B and keep them from moving forward until Group A finishes their picture.
This way, every group gets their picture taken much like a ride photo. It also becomes kind of a surprise to find out you got your picture taken when you least expect it.
