Could they place a house in a parking lot?? There is a parking lot they used for additional seating for the 4th of July fireworks. It is actually box shaped, but I am going to do some more think about this.

OK, OK, scream and shout at me all you want for saying this, but here i go.. Maybe they'd cordon off half of the Festhaus for a new house? Even on the busiest of days, I've only seen it about half full, and im sure there are plenty of back rooms and passageways to use for a maze-like feel. Like Swift said, I'm thinking outside the box here.

I'm thinking bumper cars or the area around the back of the swings to over beside the gift shop. It's a giant, empty concrete pad.

I was just thinking do you think it is a possibility that they could put a Howl o Scream show in the Globe theater and do "Entwined on Fire" in the Festhause. Now that I'd pay money to see :D

He he I am also one that would not mind seeing Entwined on fire, hey move Entwined to The Globe and put Celtic Fyre in the Festhause, I am still hateing hearing this is the last year for CF.:shocked:

Let's keep this thread about Howl-o-Scream. I for one think the maze could be places in Der Marketplatz across from Curse of DarKastle. They do mix up that shop for special events and it's not like they haven't taken away shops to make room for special event attractions. It has the room.

I've been trying to think of the best spots for a house like this ,and to me the only two places outside of FHP that I can think of are the Bumper Cars building, or Darkastle's warehouse. I have already explained how the Bumper Cars building could theoretically if they did constant set changes like Tampa. I just don't really know if Darkastle's warehouse is a possibility. Has anyone here worked on Darkastle? Do you think its possible to fit it in the facility without interfering with the ride? Like I said I"m trying to think out of the box, but not outside of reality. :p

I'm still holding out hope that they'll do one down on the Rhine River Cruise loading area- of course a problem there would be the # of people standing on that bridge.

Other possibilities that crossed my mind (and reasons it possibly wouldn't work)

-Area around the carousel/large area of unused space next to it BUT would have to close a family ride + not a "defined" area.
-Rhine River Cruise (as said above)
- Area back behind the pretzel shop and swings BUT moving all of those tables?
- Bumper Cars (as has been previously mentioned)
- Parking lot adjacent to the backlot of the Festahus and CoDk (essential parking area perhaps?)

That area does make sense as well. I would think the line would be going up the hill into Germany and not across the bridge into Scotland. The bad part is, shutting the cruise down for HoS, including the area is not handicapped accessible. But a major plus, its not stroller accessible either!

I did mention this a while ago. The parking lot is not "essential" and is mostly used for entertainment to throw stuff randomly there anyway with a few cars belonging to higher ups or anyone that has special permission to park there.

They have used this backlot to allow the public to view fireworks during the 3rd and 4th of July. I would expect them to be able to place a maze in this back area provided it doesn't take up the entire lot, but a portion of it. Also, the maze will only be used 6pm to close and on weekends only. I doubt too much will be going on at those times except for of course the whole event.

I know I keep referencing Tampa, but they have used part of an employee parking lot before. So I have to say I agree with Party Rocker that this is probably the most likely place. Besides you would probably walk down a tight outside path first, and thats the only place they could do that.

So, i know that BGT's HOS Facebook page already gave away all the mazes this year because today is Friday the 13th. Will BGW be getting the same thing or not?

Historically, BGW has been much more tight-lipped about their events (Howl-O-Scream in particular) than BGT has.

Ok i was just wondering. That 3-D clown maze they announced sounds pretty awesome, maybe they are doing the same to Fear Fair this year.

BGT relies on more tourism than BGW. The info has to be put out in advance so people will look into it and hopefully plan to visit. HHN and even MNSSHP release info earlier. It's all in the market.
