RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

It would fit perfectly to bring back NeverAfter. Considering they just got entwined in the festhaus, which is based on fairy tails. Like i said if they do not change the layout of Bitten, its just taking up space. I really miss Wicked Woods and Masqurage :( < i think i spelled that wrong

I want NeverAfter back because I never experienced and I love the scary parts of the stories.

Am I the only on who really enjoyed Bitten? I got some decent scares during all three of my walks through the maze. The 90 minute wait was totally worth it my first time in there.

The wait is only worth it for a first time. After going through it at less five times a year in the past three years, it got very boring quickly.

Bitten never really did anything for me, however Hunted was the house that got me scared between the two that were/are back there. I don't know if they did it last year(didn't go in) or the year before(can't remember), but it annoyed me walking through Bitten in the section that had sand all over the ground. I was trying to figure out what sand had anything to do with vampires, and I was trying to get the sand out of my shoes.

I had sand in my shoes the whole night because of that

I was still feeling sand in my shoes a whole month after HOS was over due to bitten. I never minded bitten. It was one of my favorites last year. If anything should go, it should be 13 or Catacombs.

13 needs to be redone. When I went through last year the first several scenes had nobody in it (except for the dark one, which my friend got whacked in the face with a feather). I would excuse this as a "Well it was early in the evening." But I waited over an hour for it, and 30 minutes of that was waiting before the house even opened. And the scenes at the end were terrible. That whole "IT'S A BAT" deal.

That house has potential, but it needs more actors, and they need amp it up.

It has potential, but something else needs to be done. Unless you read the signs in the line area, you are not sure what half the scenes are suposed to be. The Cavern of Darkness was really good, something like that needs to come back.

Hurts my feelings hearing ya'll talk bad about the sand in Bitten since I was the one who had to shovel it back in the maze every night. haha

There he is guys! Get him!

Seriously though, what's the story behind why the sand is there?

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

Supposedly it is there to slow you down and makes you feel trapped. And I was just the guy following orders. It's not like I wanted to do that every night.

In the last room with sand, there are coffins stacked to the ceiling surrounded by sand. The sand is a reference to the original novel Dracula. In the novel wherever Dracula went he had to bring soil from his homeland, Transylvania. That was so he could bury himself in his coffin and not die. I think it's a clever reference, and it does slow you down, which scares people.

I kind of liked the sand because it felt really nice to walk on after walking all day and night on the hard concrete.
