Maybe its time for a new kids show? I mean, jack isnt even the theme of hos anymore! Maybe its time for a new kids show because jack is back has been performing as long as i can remember.

The idea of having any kids show for HoS sends very mixed signals in the first place. Ideally, they would stop with Jack and Dig it Up at night when scares start.

Well i think the park wants to cater to families during the day and adults and teens at night but jack is back performed right when scares started so maybe push the time to like 530

Doesn't it still belong here because it's 2012 Howl-o-Scream related? Peronally I don't think it'll make a difference in the crowds at all. People will still all crowd the weekends in October, especially closer to Halloween. Those extra weeks will just be a nice plus for us pass members. But I don't think the crowding will get worse.

I like Jack going into the Festhaus... Entwined has definitely solidified the park's wish to keep the Festhaus "kidsiderate." Putting Jack in there clears up the horrible cluster fuck that Ireland at HOS used to be and keeps the parents from complaining about Fiends making them puke up their dinners; a good move in my eyes. Also, wow, Dig it Up has hate already... it isn't even official... and, it sure beats the hell out of the nothing they had in San Marco last season.

There hasn't been real hate for Dig, just a desire to get rid of kids at night. I think that it will be a decent replacement for MSR.

That being said, I don't think Fiends should be moved. It's not the park's fault parents don't read.

It isn't their fault, but I'm sure they are trying to avoid bitching... I don't believe the park likes to get negative feedback from their guests, regardless of how stupid they are.

I understand why, but you're putting one of the worst shows in the history of the park (yes, even worse than Entwined) in the FH as a result. You're just taking a turd and putting it on a grander scale to appease the parents, not a good move.

There is no worse than entwined. Is anybody sure what Dig it up would entail? Like what kind of show is it? Is it music, dance, etc. based?

You say that as if you have knowledge of how they plan on fitting Jack is Back into the Festhaus... which is unlikely. For all we know, it will be revamped and could end up being quite enjoyable; my only major complaint with JiB was the fact that it was crammed into a small hamlet street...

I'm thinking it will be a HOSized version of the regular season Mix it Up... so probably a Halloween brass ensemble...

As long as Jack is Back is a bunch of people dancing to crappy top 20 pop, it will always be worse than Entwined.

From what I've heard, Dig it Up will be a mix of Mix it Up and MSR. I don't really see that as a bad thing.

Jack is back is BEYOND worse IMO. I want to go to the park to see and hear things unique to the park. Not sounds I heard on every station during the drive there. THAT is its biggest downfall. If they even had some sort of hallO music for it then it would be better even as a dance party. But so long as I hear GagGag and Katie's Hairy during it... Nope.

Jack is Back talk is fine in this thread btw. Carry on.

Sorry about that i Edited It out. I think there is a good chance this will be the last year of jack is back. With the changeover of the theme and the fact that everyone has seen it before. I think ethier a new kids show is due or there will be no kids show at all. Howl o scream at night is not for kids, period. Anyone here willing to defend that statement?

Me, kids have their time from 10-6. And at 6 howloscream starts. And then parents complain about it being to scary, well that's kindve the point in the whole event, so just take little Johnny home, or don't complain at all.
