This is probably the earliest we have seen them release so much info without shouting to the heavens about it. They haven't announced anywhere the new info except on the half updated site. I just think its odd that they have given us a ton of new info yet its still early.
I am curious to see how this new show is going to work out? Aliens and cavemen? Certainly sounds like a problem waiting to happen. Perhaps another one of Scott's premiere KIDsiderate shows?
Is it me or could Dig It Up just be the parks way of moving MSR and revamping it to fit the theme, like when it was moved from New France? Sorta. The image of the show name just gives me that feeling.

Nurses are back in the show. I like how the site specifically calls out the nurses, but I wouldn't describe them as wacky?

Yes. Bitten, Thirteen, and Deadline will have the most noticeable changes. Tweaks are happening at Catacombs and Fear Fair as well. It sounds like they learned a lot from last year's event and applying what they now know to last year's houses. I really do think the event, over all, will be excellent.
Vampires and music. In the parking lot next to Das Festhaus. The line area will follow the employee path behind DarKastle all the way to the house's entrance over in Rhinefield.
EDIT: Party Rocker beat me to it. He's correct though.

i doubt it. that would be over 40 actors in the scare zones alone.

Scare zones have been removed from the map. And Verbolten is still missing.
