RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

I'm sitting here watching Tampa's Fiends on youtube and I am wondering if Busch in Williamsburg would dare to bring back the dance party they had with the nurse's years back? I actually liked the dance party or should we be thanking or lucky stars they didn't take the show away?

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

I can't help but wonder how Scott is going to sneak in light swords as props this time.

(I hereby rename this thread to "Let's make fun of Vampire Festhaus Show".)

Hamlet Themes
Scotland gets the pumpkin theme that was seen last year in Ireland, the Wild Reserve gets the cemetery/ghost theme that has been in Scotland for years now, and both France and New France keep their themes from last year.

Hordes
There will now be two roaming monster hordes in place of the park's scarezones. I've heard the hordes will consist of 20+ actors each (maybe less on nights with lower attendance) and there will be at least one actor with a chainsaw in each horde at all times. It'll be interesting to see how the park pulls it off with their narrow and hilly pathways. Also, I should mention that it sounds like they will stop in each hamlet they come to for a set amount of time to use props and such that are hamlet-specific.

How so? If its a group of slow moving zombies, folks with chain saws ect. I really don't think the hordes will be running all over the park.
They may surprise many along their way but dangerous I don't see how. JMO

I would like to ask if totally not twilight show is family friendly.

I should clarify, will it be something along the lines of Jack?

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

I don't think these "hordes" will be as big as everyone seems to think they will be.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

I think a better way to describe the hordes would be a "moving scare zone" for anyone who is trying to figure out how it would work.

Umm, two? Tampa had at least 5 or 6 groups of about ten people. Maybe this won't be as good as I was thinking now.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

I agree. Splitting them up into several different groups would catch people off guard better. BUT, I'm happy they're at least having hordes! So yay!

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors

It will be nice to see different scare actors in specific areas instead of the same ones. I hope the horde groups work.

I was thinking along the lines of that park guests will panic, start pushing and shoving, running away from the hoard, and cause a dangerous situation. I wasn't saying the hoard itself would be dangerous, just their presence. I hope it's less than 20 people for public safety's sake.

I'm so much in agreeance with this statement. Now, I think the idea is brilliant! Although, the execution could kill it. If the hordes are too big, things will go wrong. People will get hurt, and crowding will just get worse. If the hordes are too small, it wont really be a horde...Also, does this mean we will see less actors in the scarezones that are already established?

BUT on the subject of this Rhinefield house, I AM BEYOND INTERESTED AND EXCITED. Rhinefield is small though, so I'm still curious as to where they'll put it!
