I think it was mentioned having to deal with the clowns? Maybe I misheard/need to rewatch but I feel like something was said about the food relating to "guys with a red nose".

Perhaps they are going to transform the pizza cafe into carnival-themed-HOS food?

They could also be expanding the HOS food like the "monster" cake from last year.

they seemed not to want to divulge their culinary surprises yet. He definitely mentioned there would be a treat themed to clowns. I hope this is in addition to the monster cake.

what time can I expect the park to open for HOS? I know the website says 10am, but I'm almost certain that I saw a park map that listed opening times for each country, and England was open at 9:30am. Is that true for HOS as well?

They let people into the park at 9:15.

Thanks - is there a compelling reason to arrive that early?

They do open Scotland (Loch Ness) at 9:30, as well as FOF. Also, you will beat a massive 10:00 line at the turnstiles simply by getting there 15-30 minutes earlier.

I really hope MSR isn't as bad as some are making it out to be :/ I remember the original MS show when it was back in the Canadian Palladium. Now THAT was a good show.
If anyone has been on the Insider Tours before in the past, please let me know if it's worth the money?

I cannot wait for HOS this year, the announcement was enough to drive me crazy until Friday!

Just so everyone knows, we're going to try to keep Monster Stomp Revamped and Fiends discussion separate from the main Howl-O-Scream thread this year. Links to both of the official show threads have been added to the first post.

Shall we add a 'Jack is Back' thread, too? I'm sure there will be strong opinions...

^ Good ear. Similar sounds/wording (then again I suppose many "creepy/halloween songs sound similar).

In somewhat unfortunate news (depending on how you view it- if you like light crowds I suppose it's a god thing), Friday is supposed to be a TOTAL washout with periods of heavy rain. I've never actually gone to HOS with any rain, let alone heavy rain. I'm presuming the scarezone actors go inside/get the day off?

I may just go to get a quick run through of the houses and go again next weekend for the full effect- or maybe Sunday.

I'd wait and go next weekend. It's suppose to be cooling off again by then and clearing out. This weekends supposed to be in the lower 80's with 2-4" of rain possible...

That's true- I forgot about what happened last year. Added.

I also added a Trip Reports section. If you want your report added, post it into the Trip Reports board and I'll link to it in the first post.
