At the social media thing, they did confirm that the Lady of the Garden is not going to be walking around the park.

I'll post a little review on here as well.Oh, and I went to HOS yesterday for the first time.. It was crowded as f*** of course and since we didn't get there til 8:30 we only got to do Deadline. I was pretty shocked at how immersive it all was from the video screens to the big sign in the front. The house was wayyy longer than previous pompeii houses and my group got a few really good scares!! That new concept in the beginning was really fun and I loved the sets towards the end of the maze.
We wanted to do 13 after the excitement of exiting Deadline but we didn't have time so just went on Griffon and left. As scarezones go, we just saw Unleashed which was pretty good IMO, the actors were present and energized.

True. Being a mod though does not mean that I am a proof reader. I understand our German poster as he has a valid reason. He is partaking in our forum and discussions with a translator and doing so to the best of his abilities.
Side note. Outside of seeing no actors in the zone I WAS impressed with the atmosphere and fog. Lights out, music going, but I was distraught to hear the music around Mach Tower was still a cross of 106.9 and Bob FM. It IS HoS and not riding in a car with the radio on.
The music in Oktoberfest has always been like Rock and not the regular ambient sounds. In all honesty it fits the area fine, there's a lot of flat rides there so its lit up by the rides alone to wazoo. As long as they are keeping to Halloween rock/party music, seems like they did the right thing. It would be useless to play ambient tracks where the sights don't match it at all.
They just need to play halloween music, its howloscrem not a concert, thats how it felt last year by the festhaus..
FYI, they play that type of music in Ireland too. We heard some Fiends songs (Hungry Like the Wolf, You Give Love a Bad Name) in Ireland as we were leaving MSR.

long time lurker, first time poster here.
I went tonight as well as last weekend. Did anybody notice that 13 was much darker this weekend? And by darker I mean that literally, I could barely see in a few of the rooms that were much brighter last weekend.

One thing I noticed this year esp. this past saturday is the lines moved much slower than in years past. I wish the park hours were longer because there is just not enough time to do all of the haunts with the lines so long and moving slow. After waiting 50 minutes for Bitten and then 45 minutes for Catacombs we ended up buying the Quick Queue to see the other houses.
