im sure they'll have the skeletons unless they dont work anymore but im sure they do, also im sure this "one thing" has something to do with this big announcement about the 2011 2012 season, more than likely...

The one thing in the way is probably this big announcement. Now that we've got that of the way, Howl-O-Scream here we come! xD My epic wish.

I don't want to get anyone excited, but a site is up for Howl-O-Scream. HOWEVER-

It currently is displaying the houses/scar zones/shows from last year. It is definitely a new site (and is pretty awesome I might add), but it seems like they are waiting to "fill in the blanks" for this years attractions.

No. It looks like we are getting the same houses as last year.

Every. Single. Last. One. Of. Them.

Well that just destroyed my day.

Oh :(...well that's disappointing.

Granted, I didn't get to go the last two years so it will be new for me.

Oh and lovedoc--- http://www.howloscream.com/williamsburg/homepage/haunted-houses/catacombs.aspx

That page, to the right "Things to do in France". Under it? "Blurb about France"

Jus sayin :)

Are we for sure on this?

Don't let the names of the houses get your down. You will not be let down by it in the slightest bit

There are new things: The Scare is Everywhere.

Sadly it sounds like flooding the streets with people is all they could come up with this year. That is a real disappointment. You know what? Illuminights is the only thing good that has happened at BGW this year.

Hmm. What a downer, though!
I was really hoping that there were going to be houses with different names and themes.
Anyways, I guess scare zones everywhere will make up for that all, and maybe the houses will be vamped up with it's scare factor... like better actors and all. I don't know...

Sounds like they will have all new themes but the themes of the areas aren't even listed on the HoS site.

Okay ... now that there's breathing room ....

The "same houses" would dictate that this year is identical to last year (and/or other years). I thought you had some faith?

There's still a few "tweaks" going on with the site, it's not fully complete yet nor is all the information populated.

O, and something else: The site needs some work. Next time, don't run a trail version.
Yup ... not done yet. This isn't publicly announced yet - for a reason. It will be shortly, though.

I never once said the NAME of the mazes - just the scarezones and what they entailed (again - I'm very methodical when I need to be). Just because something shares a name of something else fro the past, doesn't mean they are in the same "field".

I'm sorry you feel that way - I really am. While I do take some personal offense to that comment, I do like to think that people would err to actually SEE what's changed rather then go by what very little information is posted in a pre-release website.

I'd love to say a few things, but now isn't the time. I welcome all of you who would like to leave (constructive) feedback, to please do so in a PM. I may not respond to all of them (time constraints being a main reason - repetition being the other), but know they will be read.

That all being said - with some more information out of the way (and still a little bit more coming soon™, what do you think of everything listed thus far - shows, the new store, the (description) of the mazes, etc. ?

(On that note, since I didn't get lunch when I was supposed to before, *Doc go poof*.)

I think its all excellent! how do we know the mazes will be the ''same'' they couldve changed the inside completely :D im shure if it was the same setup inside ,the park would get tons of complaints, cause some people have good memorys especially when theyve recorded it on youtube. and besides the scarezones arent listed on any map.;)

cursed could be even scarier.:D what if they have them wearing creepy eye contacts this year to make it more believable ? who knows:D

Okay.
On the new website, Harvest Hollow is listed... I thought that there was going to be a "Field Of Screams' zombie theme.
I'm excited about Monster Stomp returning, and that Jack's show is going to have new songs and dances, but I really dislike that Frankenrock is coming back.
That show was poorly done, and I liked the show that was there the past few years much better.
But whatever, I know that things will be great...

Harvest Hollow is a maze and Field of Screams is a scarezone.
