After some thinking I have changed my mind. I am actually excited about Howl-O-Scream, I was a little disappointed about the mazes being the same, but who knows there could be some crazy revamping inside the maze. I mean didn't someone say that they were changing Pompeii with the splitting of the group at the end? Or something like that?

Also on the interactive map it looks like Harvest Hallow is off the path a little bit, could this mean that it is going to incorporate some of BGW's territory?

my mistake BBW's not BGW's

I noticed a few "glitchs" with the new site.. When you goto www.howloscream.com and click on Williamsburg it takes you to the Christmas Town site then to the Howl O Scream site.. The site is the same layout as the Christmas Town one too... I was hoping for at least 1 new thing.. But not one I see.. Where is all these new things BGW Wiki is talking about?

2004 was the last year for the new edge Mustang, 2005 brought out the "retro". It was the same name but a new car. It is done all the time in the car world and what not. Just because a name is not different does not mean that the substance is not.

Everyone should keep this in mind, has the park posted on Twitter or Facebook that the site is ready? This is a pre-release site and it's still being worked on. As far as what's listed on the wiki. If you look at the mazes, there is a small description to the right which lists what else is in the area. It matches the information in the wiki. However, the wiki has more details than are listed anywhere else.

Yeah:( Its a little disappointing. But with the addition of Harvest Hollow maze.. Could be good:-/ And maybe the site is the same as CT and hasnt been updated with new things yet......:s

I all the only new thing so far on the site is the new Howl O Scream store! Whenever you guys go, please go around and look in the store and let me know if there's a Howl O Scream CD! PM me if you would like..

And you guys call yourselves "fans" :D The scare zones are on the site, but they are not listed as scare zones on the site...and it just so happens to be the stuff that Chris was describing.

I put the fan in BGWFans...

Yes, I'm corny, I know.

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the site and I've been reading the entire thread.

Anyways, when I went to howloscream.com, I clicked on the WBurg one and I got the site that says "Under Destruction" so I went to the link that you guys posted. After that I went to San Antonio's Howl-O-Scream site. Guess where Jack's going! That's right, they have a Facebook link that says "Follow Jack" and when you click on it, it brings you to the SeaWorld's Howl-O-Scream site and the image says Hi-Jack'd.

Just thought I'd point it out...

Maybe they "fired" Jack and sent him to San Antonio, because he seems to be their main character this year (don't know about any of the past years however).

Just thought that I'd point it out because it didn't seem like anyone noticed =)

On the other note (I'm probably just dreaming big here) maybe BG posted all the attractions as a teaser and will either realease the real info later or just wait til we get to the park and be surprised...Again, just dreaming big here =)

That sounds interesting about Jack.

As far as them doing that as a teaser; I doubt it. That is a lot of work to do that as just a teaser.

Welcome, nice man

England

Expect the unexpected in England. Bear witness to a dark funeral complete with ghostly city dwellers and disturbing stalking creatures that lurk overhead. Guests strolling through this creepy setting should stop in The Banbury Market where the frightful-fun continues with themed surprises for friends and family.
What this relates to-A funeral scarezone with ravens

Ireland

The normally picturesque Irish countryside and exotic landscaping of Jack Hanna’s Wild Reserve have undergone a frightening transformation. Hundreds of pumpkins have taken over Ireland, and the Wild Reserve has been invaded by creepy, long-legged creatures that descend from above.
What this relates to-Pumpkins similar to HHN, and A spider scarezone

France

Swarms of rats are plaguing a French village and are leaving the skeletons of their victims to rot. The creatures flow out from the French catacombs, crawling overhead and climbing on buildings. Guests should watch their step through this village or they may be the next skeleton. More frightful-fun awaits just around the corner. New France has become a fog filled run-down logging camp, where things lie in wait for guests.
What this relates to-A rat scare zone and a chainsaw area

OktoberFest

Drained of humanity, Rhinefeld cautions guests to keep out. Visitors should heed the warning signs that vampires are lurking in the darkness. Proceed with caution to the decrepit and desolate village of Oktoberfest, home to an all-new Howl-O-Scream store inside Der Marktplatz. With exclusive Howl-O-Scream merchandise, it is sure to bring guests shopping experience to life, whether they’re ready or not.
What this relates to-The werewolf scare zone is now vampires

Italy
Sounds of cackling and heckling laughter fill the air as guests approach the bewitched and bewildered Italian town. Mummy-lined pathways, fog and haunting music warn guests to think twice before passing Pompeii.
What this relates to-The bridge has speakers
The "clothesline" area leading to Pompeii will have mummies

That only leaves "The Scare is everywhere". BGT tried this several years ago, and what it means is yes there are scarezones...but the actors are not contained in just the areas of the zones. They will be hiding near fountains, near trashcans. My favorite was near the bathrooms they had "bush people" ambushing people as they walked out. The upside is that it meant more scares....the downside is that the detailed zones were poorly staffed. Let's hope they can hire a TON of people for the event this year. Last year was really slacking.

I found this on BTT, I wonder why they didn't mention the zombies?
I guess this isn't complete info.
But anyways it's cool. :D

Hopefully their scarezones are amazing. Cant really say im excited for howl o scream especially if it's really similar to last year... last year was horrible, and if they are only adding more scarezones and changing around the mazes.... ugh...

Looks like Haunt is gonna be the main attraction for me this Halloween.... Again....

They got their info directly from the HOS site, which doesn't list all of the details like our wiki does.

That's blatant ignorance. Have you not read this entire thread that EVERYTHING IS BEING VAMPED UP THIS YEAR. Somewhere in this thread states that even if something from last year is still there it is going to be BY FAR SCARIER. Read the thread and the information within it before you instantly start bashing items and jumping to assumptions.

That is pretty low dude. I mean I know a lot of people were disappointed, but relax! It's still Howl-O-Scream and I know that it will be amazing as always! :) I really can't wait now, and I won't even get to go until like October.

Woah, Back off superfan. I've been involved in the last few pages of this thread. I have all the information they are giving us...

You're attacking me because I believe them "revamping" pretty much everything that was there last year is unacceptable... What it sounds like to me is we are getting one uber long scarezone/haunted houses ala Festhaus park. Looks like Harvest Hollow, Bitten and Hunted will be connected leaving one big "scare area" and only leaving 3 other haunted attractions to eat up lines. This year will be a Cluster#$@^ with extra long lines into everything.

I want Busch to put on an amazing Howl o scream, but just because I love them doesnt mean Im gonna be easy on them. Im gonna be tougher on them because I know they can EASILY do a better event than anything within a 4 hour radius of them... They needed to do a complete 180 as to what happened last year.... looks like they took last year and are trying to make it pretty. I cant and wont judge it til im actually there, but im not getting my hopes up. It's always 50/50 when I go to Howl o scream.... The haunt has always been a good event.

Seriously now, stop being jerk and assuming im not reading the thread or know anything about the new information. Also, no one will know how scary it will be until it opens... Your calling me out on a opinion someone is promising you'll take away from an experience...

I hope you're right Scout, but it seems odd (from a marketing standpoint at least) not to say that they are being changed on the site. The general public will look at the site and see that all the other houses have the same names as last year and assume that they are the same (as I did when I first saw the site). If they can pull off this "the whole park is a scarezone" thing it will be a truly impressive event; however, if it is like last year and and the scarezones are severely under-staffed, I'm afraid that it will be a failure. I really wish that they hadn't of put all of their eggs into one basket like this...

My fingers are still crossed though.

I couldn't disagree more with Youhow on most of what he said in that last post, but I have to agree 100% with this section. I love the park to pieces but, just like with Europe in the Air, if they really mess something up, I will come out and say something about it.
