I really am disappointed. Like BIG time. I will still attend Busch Gardens, but I am kind of upset that there isn't any NEW maze, but I guess with some changes inside the mazes could be wonderful. The scare is everywhere is the big thing this year, and who knows if they step up there game the scarezones could be better than the actual mazes, but I doubt it. We were excited about them last year, and they of course fell short of our expectations. I guess the only thing to do now is wait. However, I do like the sites new look, great job Busch.

When on the site, does it say Christmas Town 2010, for anyone else? AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE!

Yeah, the redirects appear to be messed up right now, use this link:

Ohh ok. Hmm, so I wonder if those shacks are going to be for a revamped Harvest Hollow, or for Field of Screams.
On the interactive map, it has Harvest Hollow in the same place, and weren't we predicting that Field of Screams would be over there or is that just me?
Hmm. Well now that I've realized that not everything is the same at all, I'm excited again.
New "scare zones" everywhere- no where is safe... isn't that better than haunted houses with a different name and lame traditional scare zones?
I think it is. :)

everybody relax. plus if you wanted to know what HOS was going to be this year all you had to do was look at the decal covering the door to entertainment in the back. it listed everything that was going to be there. i did about 3 weeks ago when i applied for CT.

Something I noticed, and I'm sure it has to do with the site not being complete - On the listing for the houses, it has basically the same descriptions as before, but when you go to the interactive map, they don't necessarily match. Like for Pompeii, the blurb is about ash and same as before, but on the map it said something about mummies. Of course, I can't get the map to load again for me, so I can't check all the other mazes. Then again, I could be pulling stuff out of thin air.

The front page of the site is really cool with the crows and the creepy dude!

Does anyone think that Harvest Hallow will be more than a walk back to Oktoberfest this year? Maybe it'll use some of the old Big Bad Wolf space as part of its maze.

I think the mazes are going to be pretty much the same. Would there be a rational for completely changing the maze but not changing the name?

For the sake of not having the same layout?

Plus, you have to figure the mazes will be at least a little different with all of the scare actors hired this year. I know they are trying to fill up the scare zones as well, but if you consider the fact that we lost one maze, I would imagine there would be an even larger surplus of people within the mazes to scare you

Sadly it sounds like flooding the streets with people is all they could come up with this year. That is a real disappointment.
I'm sorry you feel that way - I really am. While I do take some personal offense to that comment, I do like to think that people would err to actually SEE what's changed rather then go by what very little information is posted in a pre-release website.

:s Sorry, don't take it personally, it wasn't meant that way. I just don't know how good of an idea it is to let the whole event depend on the scarezones. Last year in New France there was one "watcher" scaring people while the others just stood there and gave kids high-fives (no, I'm not kidding- they were literally standing around a trashcan talking and joking with people). For years now the quality of the event has relied on themeing and house quality. Maybe I'm just afraid of change, who knows. I still have a little ounce of hope left, but most of it was just ripped out by the site. :(

Yeah, I'm not really disappointed here. Just because the houses have the same name doesn't mean they are the same. Perhaps the park has taken what worked last year with the houses and made some changes to make them better. I don't feel like you can just write off the entire event based on what was seen last year.

ok, there is two pages that i will read after making this post, i just am super excited and want to make a point real quick,

1.) Cavern Of Darkness is gone and replaced by Harvest Hollow being made into a maze this year, and its about zombies (or at least thats what me and my brother took away from the Description)

2.) We havnt seen any scarezone names except for the ones Lovedoc so graciously gave us to tide us over...

3.) THAT STORE SOUNDS AMAZING!!!

4.) Every House except for Pompeii is givin FIVE PUMPKINS!!! They said they would be increasing the scare and it sounds like they did!

5.) The Website layout is just 100 fold better than anything i imagined!

While I am happy they have made the scare zones park wide, I am a little disappointed that they have side-tracked their focus from the mazes. Though I can't say anything until I've actually been in one, or heard about it, I feel the greatest thing about this year will be the Park Wide Scares. I was over-all impressed last year with all the mazes, and I'm someone that can go on/in something 20+ times before it gets old to me so hopefully the mazes haven't lost their lust.
