The person you were transferred to this afternoon was Guest Correspondence. They do have any control, nor know of when the website or anything associated with Howl-O-Scream will be updated. They, as are 92% of the park's employees are kept in the dark about (most) marketing promotions until just prior to being released. If you want, PM me (Do not post any phone numbers on the forum, please) the phone number you called from and I'll be able to dig up the conversation you had and with whom you spoke to. That will help clarify any misconceptions there might be - or clear up a "communication-to-guest" problem on the park's end.

Either way, I guarantee this can be resolved tomorrow.

And my apologies for bursting a bubble here, I just don't want misinformation being given out when it's easily avoided.

What was confusing about what I posted? I was offering to help both Jordan and the company. :-/

I Called guest relations and after that I have no idea. It was so weird, 1st rings BOOM I was talking to a girl! Useally it takes 10 min to get through. I called last week (Friday) and the girl said they had no clue when it will come out, that the park doesnt tell them, but now they all the sudden the girl said this week.

The first person you spoke to Friday was correct - the Call Center (that's who you're calling, not Guest Relations) isn't notified of things like this until it's required of their duties. Whoever you spoke to the last time was incorrect in telling you a specific answer that she has no knowledge of. That's not to say the website won't be updated this week, just that her communication with you is flawed and needs to be looked in to. That being said, it will be corrected tomorrow.

So, to get the thread back on topic, we were talking about the "letter" posted by Jack on Facebook.

Clearly he will not be the headliner. Do you guys think it will be another character, or possibly multiple characters like HHN always does?

Well, In mostly ALL there ades theres this creepy guy with a hat on.. I have no clue if he has somthing to do with it, but maybe?! Also since there will be a "Revamped" Jack is Back show, My wish is to have a CD with the old audio for sale! I would <3 that!

I don't think it'll be another character. I think it will simply be "We packed so many witches, zombies, and monsters into Howl-O-Scream this year they've taken over the park!"

Busch did an amazing job with creating Jack and I have the confidence that could generate another such figure, i.e. the man with the hate in the ad. Busch has an amazing creative department and if it is a new character I am sure they have done another illustrious icon.

Not neccesarily, if they're looking for more of a scary image they would not keep Jack The Pumpkin.

My impudence on the creative team there is pretty high so I would actually be pretty stoked.

take notes of the lyrics that are in the songs that are played at the show. One song at a time, enter them into google, opine the results, look for the song on iTunes

Agree with wings. Would like a new overall theme every year or at least some sort of story if it is the same main character.

Could the new character be this "large birdman" everyone keeps talking about. No one has really said anything about that and I believe that this character could be the new face for Howl-O-Scream.
