The easy solution there is to run Count Spooktacular from 11-3 and then Howl-O-Scream from 5-9.
So FoF for the early session, whatever areas for the rest of the park for the evening session?

My guess is there won’t be any actors/houses and will mainly be decorations.A Halloween event is happening—I’d be surprised if it is called Howl-O-Scream though.

Personally I would find Sesame characters on the train pretty frightening. Just keep them there the whole day lol. Some part of me thinks they could pull of "Sesame Characters on the Train during the Day Session, Scare Actors on the Train during the Night Session"
I could see this happening if they are able to afford bringing some additional employees back as scare-actors/costume characters but as long as the 1000 people only stays in place I can’t see them bringing back any actors and if they did they might have to make the same employees that are costume characters in the day be scare-actors at night.Definitely no Houses. Some part of me thinks they could pull of "Sesame Characters on the Train during the Day Session, Scare Actors on the Train during the Night Session" in addition to decorations, though, but it all depends on where demand is for these events by then.

Yeah, honestly I’d sacrifice a few rides to get a good Halloween eventYeah, that was sort of what I was imagining: create a couple of spots on the train route where there's some distanced interaction with Sesame characters and freaky folks during the different windows.
I think they're going to have to make a call about whether or not they can afford to offer fewer rides being open but having one or more "scare zones" with some kind of scare actor experience. Gonna be a balancing act of what people are interested in.
In all seriousness, I could see the park just keep the HOS name solely because it’s a recognize product. However, this year is going to be radically different and I could see the park scheme up some new name.
When people hear Howl-O-Scream is open, they expect Howl-O-Scream. Managing expectations is everything here.
