I’m not sure about that. People touch 100s of items in the room, searching for clues. It would be a major effort to disinfect everything in a room in between each game. Additionally, it would be dangerous for the actors, given their proximity to the players. While traditional escape rooms do not require character interaction, the No Escape rooms are HOS attractions, and the scares are part of the experience. Finally, they rarely seem busy to begin with, and I wonder how many people would take the risk for an upcharge attraction. Why pay extra money, given the obvious threat of contracting the virus?

This reminds about how not being allowed to touch anything was one of the critical plot points of Alone at Busch Gardens Tampa. Naturally, a character breaks something and blames it on you.

If only BGW could pull a masterpiece like that out of thin air right now and make good business sense of it.

I thought of this thread when I saw this, so here we come Howl-O-Scream 2020!!!!

I'm hearing that the park intends on trying to do HOS but it won't be like anything that we have experienced before for HOS.

Most likely this means decorations only.

No monsters at all? I thought it would be cool to see some socially-distanced monsters in some of the scare zones if possible.

I also noticed that they have the Scare Squad page up on their audition website, but no audition dates listed.

That was just my own guess. As far as I know they haven't decided on any specifics for HOS yet.
