RIP ParkFan…

…hope this isn’t some sort of sign.
I see a tool box and the obvious rolling stairs there indicating work is either being done or will be done soon. It's possible they moved it to get it out of the way and will bring it back when it's done.

For a LONG time BGW had a big, standing fan pointed at the gearbox thing at the bottom of Griffon's lift—a ParkFan, if you will.
Up to about a week ago, it was my avatar and I had a user title of “It’s me, a ParkFan.” as well.

I have doubts it’ll be back.

Hearing reports of an incident right now at Griffon involving a 10-11 where the lift elevator got stuck. Guests have been on the lift for over an hour. James City County Fire/Rescue now on scene to assist in the safe evacuation of the ride. Anyone else at the park to confirm?

I drove past the park about 8:30 everything appeared business as usual. It's likely that if the normal evac was having issues that given the time with sunset nearing that it likely was at least partly a we can't keep working the problem we need a solution fast call.
