No guests involved. Train has been sitting there almost all day. Appears to be training of some sort.
Edit: I don't believe the ride has reopened since the evac the other night
It hasn't given that the issue appears to have been that for some reason they couldn't get the floor fully inplace to evac it seems logical that they would put tge train back in refuffly the same place for training and evaluation before reopening it.

Those floor pieces look different than the ones I remember. Maybe they got new ones after the events of the other day? A bit odd to do training that time of day. Usually done at 7:00 in the morning or just after close. If you ever see lift lights on like 45 min or an hour after close, it's usually evac training.

I thought they looked a bit different. Wasn’t 100% sure though. Maybe the use those ones for when the train is at a weird angle like that and use the other pieces when it’s more flat. I also wonder if the team wasn’t trained to use those other floor pieces the other day. If any of that makes any sense

That's certainly possible. While I was there, we only trained on brake runs and all the way on the lift. Not at the incline point. They could have decided that they should train on that spot before reopening the ride.

After hearing that I wonder if the employees didn’t know how to evacuate the train from an awkward position which is why they needed the help of the FD. I also wonder if they have 2 different types of floors. One for if it was stuck like that at the bottom of the lift and if it was like that at the top of the lift. And another for where the train is more level. If that makes any sense

So the pieces were made to fit based on where the train stopped. The lift pieces are different from the brake pieces per say. From the pictures I have seen, it didn't look like anyone other than park staff was working on the evac, so maybe they just wanted them there as backup? Maybe someone was having a medical emergency during the evac? Again, we don't know for sure and probably won't know the exact reason why. For all we know, a new operator freaked out, called the park emergency line, and told them that they need rescue, so dispatch called. I haven't done anything that bad, but I have made some pretty stupid calls to dispatch.

The pictures that I saw were from to far to be sure but I thought I saw one or two JCCFD shirts under the harnesses.

This ride hates me. I got the belts to buckle on the test seat and then got walked on the loading platform. Can ride every single other coaster in Virginia including Twisted Timbers and Alpengeists larger seats. Ugh makes me worry about my initial BGT visit coming up in September. All gonna come down to some damn belts and how many more precious inches I can get off me over the next month……at least I should be good for VelociCoaster.
