Is it the psychedelic surf board cutout ads? They had those at Pompeii's exit, too.

Does the park think people don't see the other huge advertisements outside in the entrance area? BGT does it too, just in a less outstanding way. Even in places where there are misters at BGT, there will be a sign that says, "This Cool Zone is brought to you by Adventure Island."

And they're going to pay attention to an even smaller cardboard cutout in the un-populated corners of the park?

I don't think I would mind a simple sign saying "Griffon's splashdown brought to you by Water Country USA!" or something like that but if the ads by Griffon are anything like the horrid psychedelic ads by Pompeii then it is really quite bothersome.

I will say that because I didn't see the Griffon ads, maybe they're not all that noticeable, but that raises a different question asking why they have an ad that nobody can see. :p

Here's the set-up for the sign beside Griffon's splash zone(basically the same one as the one beside Pompeii's exit).

After reading through the AC thread about the background music that got me thinking about the animation.

As you can tell there is music but I noticed something else...
Trees!
But there's something else. Look at the right of this photo:
The Missing Pathway of Busch Gardens!

You see that? It's a pathway that I imagine would've connected to the Grimms Landung bridge.

And look at this. More pathways.

Looking at this you can see there was supposed to be a path around the other side of the splash pool.

In the bottom right of this photo you can see more paths.

The path heading to the River would've probably connected with the Grimms Landung and the other New France.

In the left of the shot you can see the path to the Rhine.
What happened to the site? It shows trees a nice secluded pathway. I know it's technically concept art and concept art can look entirely different from paper to reality. But still it really would've helped with the character of the ride. Then again at the end of the day the park put in a great thrill ride that boosted attendance and that's what they wanted. (I still can't believe I just noticed this.:p)

Who can take this concept art seriously when Alpengeist has a curved lift hill with missing supports!?

Back in the BGEscape days, this came out and the site when into meltdown mode. Like it imploded. We were so blown away.

Lives up to the hype, just wish the splashdown was done better. We got an extra Immelman and a so-so splashdown. Tampa got an amazing splashdown/viewer experience and no Immelman.
