I am not a big fan of GL nor a hater. Riding it twice is all I can do and often skip the ride. If GL were to removed it would leave a big unslighty and highly visible empty spot at the front of the park.

Not what I meant 😂

I’m also in favor of sending it to New Zealand.

Edit: guess who just got a travel advertisement for New Zealand on YouTube.
Swayzak would love it (TOM's VA voices Hal in Injustice 2.)

Anyway, I hate this ride. It headbangs me like I'm at a Metallica show or something. And to make matters worse I have a crush on Hal. I'd rather see the queue line be used for a Parallax!Hal Fright Fest attraction or something.

I’ve been on several standups (Shockwave SFGAdv, Shockwave KD, Mantis, Riddler, Green Lantern, GA Scorcher)— I’ve always felt as though most tried to do too much. I felt like the Togo Shockwave, the Intamin Shockwave, and the Georgia Scorcher were the best of the bunch. They are smaller, single vertical loops straight out of the drop, then just a simple layout with a couple of “tricks”. All the other loops and corkscrews just felt like too many things that become really uncomfortable. I could ride most once, but had little desire to ride again. The smaller ones could be ridden multiple times— especially GA Scorcher when it was new.
Scorcher is the only stand up I’ve been on that I didn’t hate. Went to SFOG unplanned, hopped in the first line I saw, cringed when I realized it was a stand up, and was pleasantly surprised.

With the dual rumors of Green Lantern and Kingda Ka being removed and both being next to each other, I wonder if they would consider a B&M Giga in their place. Before you go, "Why? They already have a B&M Hyper!", remember Great Adventure is now a sibling park to (formerly) Cedar Fair parks, several of which did this very thing: Diamondback/Orion (Kings Island), Thunder Striker/Fury 325 (Carowinds), and Behemoth/Leviathan (Canada's Wonderland). So, it wouldn't be unprecedented...

Would the Green Lantern plot of land have enough to support a Giga? I’d be 100% down for something like that if they could

I'm including all of Kingda Ka's plot as well. This is if both get removed, but there are concurrent rumors of both getting removed.

Edit: Giga Plot.jpg

I also included the small parking lot behind Kingda Ka as a potential area for the layout.

I’m refusing to believe the ka rumors are true but there are a lot of credible sources saying it’s true. I’m just hoping someone decides to change their mind and leave ka alone.

Green Lantern can go and I wouldn’t be too upset. I would love to see a nice little revamp of the boardwalk because that area needs help. With the demo of green lantern, I believe that’s when they will finally get rid of the SBNO Parachute Tower. Right now it’s prob too close to remove it due to all of the attractions near by and the cheaper option is most likely to implode it like cedar point did with space spiral.

What credible sources? Everytime we hear someone talk about a rumor from a “credible source” it ends up being bullshit

Rode it a week ago and I think some park is going to get very nice floorless conversion.

Been saying for a while that with a floorless conversion, it becomes a smaller park’s star attraction. Good layout, but dear god it’s a miserable experience as it currently is.

but there's medusa, if green lantern gets a conversion, they would give green lantern the rmc treatment and make it a b&m dive coaster

People that work at the park that i've been friends with for many years as well as credible youtubers that have shown time and time again that these rumors they talk about are true, like Eltororyan.
