Yeah, Le Catapult used to be in Castle O'Sullivan. That isn't a half bad idea. Very good.
As far as yea-round operation, I can see them opening the start of March to New Years no problem. However January and February will be a stretch unless they can create another event that can fill the gap. However, they could still open every month, provided they add enough indoor/weather tolerable rides, as well as over advertise like they did with Mach Tower, and plus a reduced price would help get more people in the park.
Imagine it like this, you can go to Busch Gardens, ride some of the best dark rides as well as see some of the best entertainment and be encompassed in an entire other world for a fraction of the cost since only the water rides and coaster will more than likely be closed (only 7 - 9 rides, which really is not that much considering the park had near 50). If you can visit Busch Gardens when it is not busy for cheaper and experience practically everything except 9 rides, would you go? Yes! Why? Because, the fact that it isn't busy and is cheap really pulls people in. After all, look at the $5 ticket deals. Dirt cheap prices for what? A couple of lights and a half closed park. People really ran after those. My point being, advertised right, priced right, and after adding a few more rides, you can really pull through.
