it is funny to think how the whole park can be moved to the next county over. mach tower actually runs down in the 30's, they close it really only for high winds, which was an issue.

Considering KM was Busch, I can see why they tried to please everyone. Even if Blackstone ignores KM, they still have to listen to the city (and I'm pretty sure the city's gonna hear what residents have to say). Hopefully this means we get a new wooden coaster in the future if this is true.

But that's where the part about moving to York comes in. York doesn't have any residents near the park that can complain, they could careless as to what KM would say. Even threating to move to York would cause a serious upheaval.

How far from the park is the proposed area?

Moving the proposed park to York sounds like a good idea. A lot of the new touristy stuff ended up there (GWL, Wal-Mart) because of the strict guidelines W/JCC places on buildings.

Well, if I am correct, the new uniforms will go into effect March 17th. I don't think they are handing them out yet, except to the newbie team members.

That would seem logical... I think most returning team members already have their uniforms... guess that will change

^ Hopefully they'll be better than the new German ones from last year. If anyone has pictures, you know where to send them. ;)
I agree any new uniform maybe than German ones and feel sorry for the ones who had to wear them.

There just is no way to solve the costume issue. After all, it is hard to find an outfit that can be worn to be themed to an area that still is a uniform, unless they looked like they were actors in a show.

I would have 4 different outfits for a male and for a female in just one area, so they aren't all identical, however the outfits would be heavily themed to the area that way you feel more immersed in a themed group of people for that area. Also, it gives the team members a say in what they want to wear and they can mix it up and not be all the same, but still be themed.

thats what they do with the supervisors... they have a white, white with stripes, and a burgendy shirt

Well, I would at least theme them a whole lot more, that way not everyone looks the same but they are still in costume.

You have never been to Disney World.

There are tons of simple, periodish tunic style shirt designs they could use that would be in line with the "Old Country" feel. Maybe with a slightly different style and color to identify each country? Disappointing that they seem to be going more the generic amusement park route.

I think Blackstone wants the team members to look casually uniform and proper with just a hint of theme, the perfect recipe of costuming.
