So in other words, I need to finally break down & wait through that oh-so-enormous line to see EITA before they shut it completely down, yeah? ;)

Yeah, just wait till the end of the day. You don't want the rest of your day ruined by that monstrosity.

Just to put it out there, how much time do we think Europe in the Air has left exactly?

I highly doubt it'll outlast Celtic Fyre.

For me, it's the same thing for Pirates 4-D. I'd like to see it one last time this season, so I have a good memory of what it was in person (assuming it gets replaced).

From what I understand, it'll have its last showing relatively soon. Don't expect it to make it through IllumiNights or maybe even to IllumiNights.

Empty Globe Theater for a year? I hope they have something to put in there temporary. I will say I have heard that A Sesame Street Christmas should still be in the Globe for Christmas Town this year.

Thanks, I'll see it on Friday then. Just out of curiosity, what do you think the reasoning behind that is? I think I remember reading on this board that Monster Stomp wouldn't return there until 2014.

I'm sure they're planning some major renovations to accompany the new show. The Sesame Street Christmas show is the only children's show for Christmas Town so I imagine they'd like to finish all renovations in time for Christmas Town to allow that show to perform this year.

Basically, shut down the Globe sometime soon, renovate, reopen for CT, debut new show in next season along with Monster Stomp Revamped for HOS.

I don't understand why they need to do so many renovations. I think they should keep it open through alluminights, then after that shut it down then do the renovations through the end of Summer, Howl-o-scream, and between HOS and Christmastown. I don't see why that shouldn't be enough time. It's not like they're building a ride in there. It's just some major renovations which should not take more then the time that I just gave. If they want to they could hold off some of the things they don't need to do until later. Then do that between Christmastown and the opening of the Season. That should be plenty of time. IMO.

Something else you have to keep in mind: Entertainment will be extremely busy with striking IllumiNights, setting up Howl-O-Scream, maintaining Howl-O-Scream, striking Howl-O-Scream, and setting up Christmas Town during the time you outlined. The most free time they'll have is going to come during the Food & Wine and IllumiNights. Those are the times when they can put 100% into Globe renovations.

^^^ Yea but once they are fully set up for HOS they will have plenty of time to work on the Globe. The only thing they'll have left to do for HOS after it is set up is minor changes. Also, let me remind you that they'll have plenty of time to do it during the weekdays, because the park is closed. They also have those 3-4 weeks between Illuminights, and HOS. I'm sure they'll have plenty of time to work on it, and I see no reason why they would close it right during the start of peak season, but we'll see what happens when it happens.

Howl-o-Scream is a lot more than just put up. During the vent you have technicians running all over the park making changes that Scott wants done, things that need to be added, things that need to be taken away. Plus, accounting for bad weather, if the weather ruins anything it needs to be replaced. You may think it is just simple easy and quick and they have time to kill but here is the biggest thing to know about Entertainment - they are ALWAYS busy running around and more or less they end up either finishing late or just barely on time. Think of last year, Howl-o-Scream was put up late, Holiday Hills didn't open up finished, etc. They have A LOT to do.

Most events, Busch Gardens or otherwise (plays, musicals, festivals) are never *ready* and require constant supervision, revision, handling etc., throughout their run, including when they are actually on stage happening. To the audience it usually seems like the ship is sailing itself, but behind the scenes, it's often a chaotic mess.
