RE: Full Service Restaurant?

I am sure Bistro is the one they are converting. After all, like I said, they are adding shading to the patio, it is not listed on the website as a dinning option, and it has the perfect set-up to become a full service restaurant.

I just checked out the website and it is listed in the paragraph about dining in France. "Choose Bistro 205 for an all-you-care-to-eat buffet of Southern favorites like crispy fried chicken, corn, green beans and fresh salad. Kids will love hot dogs and macaroni and cheese—but they’ll also love sitting outside and watching the Griffon make its 90-degree plunge toward the ground." Looking in the list of restaurants does exclude it. Maybe the site will be updated around opening. The Bistro does sound like one of the best locations though.

RE: Full Service Restaurant?

Well, still some of their restaurants aren't always open, Grogan's has been closed a few days without any real reason. If it is closed they usually have a sign. I think they could update at opening announcing it as a full-service restaurant. After all, opening on in France of all countries seem to be the most eloquent, plus the actual restaurant now is the most ideal location.

In regards to training, for new people, they go through 2 3-hour orientations, 1-job specific 3-hour orientation, then a 1-2 hour on the job training. Basically 4 days, 3 hours each day. It can easily take a new person two weekends to be trained, and as mentioned before, most training happens when your actually on the job. That is why they have supervisors, to teach you when you run into a problem. A re-hire goes through 1 3-hour orientation and then a 3-hour job specific orientation. That take 2 days, 3 hours a day. There is not much too training other than tell you, this is how things are done, give it a try, you did pretty decent so you are now trained. See you on your first day!

EDIT: My sources said they heard nothing of a full-service restaurant. I am starting to doubt this, but I will remain vigilant about any word I get. I am investigating. *Puts Sherlock Holmes hat on and pulls out magnifying glass.*

Yeah, you're right, they are just hiring waiters for no real reason. False alarm everyone.

RE: Full Service Restaurant?

Since we have Sherlock Party Rocker Holmes with his hat on and pulling out his magnifying glass on this case:), we may find out why they are just hiring waiters for no real reason. Either this is mistake by the park's HR department or is there another reason for posting the job.

What I meant was, they haven't heard of any plans to open a sit down, full-service restaurant, which is very unusual.

But anyways, It can not be a mistake by the HR department. They don't make mistakes like that, and I think it is the department he posts the job openings, not so much HR. They are the ones that just set up the appointments, and records, and such.

RE: Full Service Restaurant?

Check this out! Posted on BG's Facebook. Looks like the person who posted a reply, either deleted their own post or they said something the park doesn't want out.

Very suspicious.

In party rocker's defense, you can't just make statements without proof or reason of your thinking

RE: Full Service Restaurant?

My money is on two locations,

Grogans Pub

Or the cafe inside the Festhaus.

RE: Full Service Restaurant?

I think the Festhaus Cafe, it is something small where they can try it out to see if it works and does well.

Then why not delete the whole post instead of a few comments??

Simple. Parks don't want people spreading rumors around. False rumors that spread could lead to disappointment in the end. Rumors that turn out to be true could hide secrets that the park doesn't want to let out yet.
