I think we will see a Major changes. I have a strong feeling we will see ALL new tables. An all new stage. And the restaurant will be in a portion of the seating that is sectioned off from the rest up front by the stage. Face it: the whole Festhaus will not be a restaurant.

I am loving this! Perhaps the street characters are making a comeback, or in-character TM's are at least going to start. This will really boost the theme. I think new tables probably will happen, the park already said they have a new stage which is still in the center which means the back half could be sectioned off as the restaurant, the front half a theater. Everyone's happy

Yeah, I'd agree with this. I wonder if they are expanding somehow?? I just can't believe that they would sacrifice the current seating capacity. It's close to maxed out already on busy days.

I agree too. I am just wondering if the wait staff will only be bringing the food out to the table that was order from one of the food stands.

^me too, but what if they closed off (like a 4ft high wall) the area close to the new stage in the Festhouse and used that area as the restaurant... everyone in the Festhouse could still see the show, but only those who want to pay for a sit-down restaurant will get close seats... just a thought

Actually, from what I think was previously stated, the stage is still towards the middle of the Festhaus, so really they can divide the festhaus straight down the middle, half for the restaurant and show, half for just the show. I mentioned that earlier because it seems extremely logical.

The stage looks awesome. It is in the middle but it's twice as big and looks nothing like the old one. pics later

The Festhaus is looking new, but I didn't notice any full service restaurant like thing going on it there, looked normal as always, with the exception of a new stage.

If the Festhaus is gonna be full service, I'm sure work will be done later on. The park hasn't announced it yet so we'll see what happens.

Just saying, since they had mentioned in the application that positions were available immediately, I expected it to go full service Preview Day, but I honestly don't see them announcing it. I only say that because there seems to be no need for the park to say, "By the way, Das Festhaus is full service now." It is kind of like saying La Cucina is a buffet now. No announcement, it just happened.
