I was just throwing it out there since we don't know what kind of themeing is being put into the festival, and those banners look temporary to me, or maybe they are just that bad? But we don't have a schedule for when they plan are getting started as far as decor goes as well. I think we should wait and see how this turns out but I think it could be, just another thing to get out of the way right?

While some changes are not good (removing the flavor of Europe/flags from the entrance gates, for example) I don't understand all the negativity for everything they do. It's like the park can't make any changes without it being criticized. Some changes are actually good.

I think the renovations in Aquitaine are an improvement. They've taken a corner of the hamlet that has held only carnival-type stands in recent years (selling crazy hats, face painting, etc.) and replaced it with something classier (an arbor, seating area, and some very classy doors where tackiness used to reign). I think this raises the area to a level of attractiveness like around Grogan's Pub. I assume there will be some vines growing on the arbor, and it will look lovely. It's much better than carnival hats, trinkets, and face painting.

I have to say, having seen it in person a few minutes ago, the arbor looks very, very nice. Now those banners? That's another story.

Here is all I'm going to say on this topic. The designing department, and the theming department need to be closer associated with each other. I think SOME renovations this year were poorly discussed between the departments.

I saw it coming as soon as I read this:
-Entertainment is fully responsible for all park theming

-Scott says he has never been a fan of Aquitaine, the park’s French hamlet

EDIT: Scott was never a fan of This is Oktoberfest, either... and look where that got us.
