I still think Backlot will go first. Flight of Fear can be fixed up and integrated into the area. Backlot looks junky and wouldn't be missed.

FOF will almost definitely go first. FOF opened in 1996, while Backlot opened in 2006. Backlot can easily be rethemed to a safari chase and possibly have its launch converted to an LSM launch in the coming years.I still think Backlot will go first. Volcano was often asserted to be the most popular ride in the park. By time waited per ride, absolutely. By ridership, almost surely impossible. That's all I claim of FoF until Rapterra. Also your source only shows top 5 for 2019, and FoF still closed for Haunt that year (about the only way they could cram more people on BLSC).FOF isn’t even in the top 5 at the park by ridership. Almost forgot about the rumors of FOF's removal that year.
I swear if they take out fof before replacing anaconda im gonna riot
I hope If they don’t replace it they at least make a nice bridge over the lake to enjoy the view and connect to the area in pantherians plaza where dales car used to beThere's no guarantee Anaconda's getting a legit replacement - personally, I'd prefer they leave Lake Charles as is without another ride on it.
We’d better get a send off, but that’s honestly unlikely, at least it’s closure will probably be well known like ka, and when I make my last visit of the season in sept, I’ll def give it a nice, proper, and possibly tearful send off.Sure - I know it's been discussed elsewhere several times to do something to eliminate the dead-end over there.
As to the fate of FoF - hopefully it at least is given a proper send-off if it is to be removed. Because it's in a building, it could be SBNO for a while before we'd see any movement on a replacement assuming the building stays.
Hoping this is a good signThe painting of the launch tunnel that others mentioned not sure what to make of that.
Are we sure that’s new? It seems like such a minuscule area. Unless it’s just a test section. The painting of the launch tunnel that others mentioned not sure what to make of that.
It's happened since Rapterra opened. I believe from what other said it was first seen last weekend but I haven't been since opening weekend so I can't personally verify that. From the angle I was looking at it looks like it could possibly be an effort to match the Caldera but it in the shade and kinda hard to see right now from outside the ride area so I may be wrong. I plan to use my fast pass to ride it later today and can probably tell you better then. Are we sure that’s new? It seems like such a minuscule area. Unless it’s just a test section.
Also, it almost looks gray to me — are they trying to match the gray of the caldera? Or it just the camera?
Deciding on a color perhapsView attachment 37235
They’ve painted a bit more of the launch tunnel since last weekend. Oddly, still just a little more than last time. I wonder what the strategy is here.
