Pic wont post but theyre painting the inside track of flight of fear.
Sorry to say but that single piece of track has been yellow for a long time. Why? I’m not sure, or at least I can’t remember. Anyone else know the history behind the yellow track?

To confirm, there are Reddit posts from within the building a year ago with that single piece of yellow track. So no, they aren’t repainting the track.

The official KD instagram post does allude to the fact that aliens aren’t going g anywhere. It also does a good job of showcasing what looks like a lot of dust on the supports ha.

Screamscape saying that Flight of Fear could be in its last season. Inclined to not believe it?

The Flight of Fear removal rumor has its own thread, here:

The outside of FOF looks awesome. It could use a few more signs to really sell the testing facility theme (I wonder if they’ll add something where the big Bureau of Paranormal Activity seal used to be) but it looks clean and fits the Jungle X aesthetic nicely.

They painted basically everything outside that isn’t part of the show building. Even the side of the building in the queue and the doors inside the locker area were repainted. And I noticed new stamped concrete in the exit area with fake “cracks” that echo the style of the new stamped concrete in the Rapterra queue.

There also new Whey Foundation flags on the flagpoles at the entrance to the FOF plaza. And even though I noticed that even though they’ve replaced the metal fences in the plaza with wood, they left some of the red “alarm” lights.

I’m really craving info about whether the FOF removal rumor is true or a baseless rumor. On one hand, it would seem weird that they even did as much work as they did if they don’t plan for the ride to stick around. On the other hand, it might explain why they didn’t do a thing to disguise the show building in the Rapterra queue — which IMO is the single biggest issue with Rapterra, as they show building sticks out like a sore thumb.

Edit: @CoasterBroCam they didn’t touch the inside. It still has all the new audio and lighting effects they added last year.

That's a good-looking sign! Next year will be Flight of Fear's 30th birthday celebration. How about a refresh to the theme, including a storyline playing with the park's past?

Flight of Fear gets reimagined as a top-secret alien base hidden within the depths of Jungle X. But here's the twist — the aliens didn’t come alone. They’ve tampered with the Lion Country Safari wildlife… mutating the park’s long-lost animals into terrifying, otherworldly creatures now roaming the jungle.

The queue could wind through an abandoned research outpost, filled with overgrown foliage, broken containment tanks, and cryptic messages warning guests of the scientific safari mutations ahead. You thought they'd been shipped off to Florida in the early 90s? No, they've been used for science by the aliens for the past 30 years, now to be unleashed!

Also, these aliens are known for hating to have to walk all the way to the restroom by Bl*w Job Sh*it Coaster to go potty, so a new restroom is built by Flight of Fear.
This year would have been Ka's 20th and we all see how that reshesh turned out. Just saying.

That must have been right after I got off LOL They closed the line when I was getting my stuff out of a locker.

Reading on FB King Dominion Season Pass holders that Fof valleyed again today (around 1:45pm) at the top of the spaghetti bowl. It doesn't seem like Hanover rescue was not involved this time.

The description I have read on today's event seem to indicate that it stop on the break run at the top and that guests were evacuate from the platform next to it. This appears to be a completely different and much more normal situation then what occurred yesterday when it appeared to have stopped at a place that was never planned as a possible stopping point.
