RE: Fiends (2011 to Present)

Me? I don't go to theme parks for shows. It was an observation about the photo. I could really care less about the performances.

RE: Fiends (2011 to Present)

Two different theme parks, with two very different demographics.

I mean look at Tampa Fiends in comparison to ours, it makes ours look like saints going to church. It doesn't mean this new version of the show is alright for the park. They pushed the boundary for the park for this area, when last year that had a really good show.

RE: Fiends (2011 to Present)

I noticed at the most recent show I went to ladies and the audience in general loved the show. Everytime the wolfman went down to nearly grinding on a girl, you heard all this happiness from the crowd and cheering.

Sex is obviously not the issue here.

Like him and/or his performance or not, based on the shows I have been to, the wolf is clearly a crowd favorite; cutoffs not withstanding. :p

Perhaps it is the cut off jeans? I noticed much more reaction with them, than without them. Maybe I should start wearing them?

Or like CK said, pheromones. Like supposedly how women are attracted to mens sweat or how chocolate supposedly makes you feel in love or happy.

Really? Unless they changed a lot this year, BGW's fiends had more sex and I think was a better show than Tampa's last year. The only thing Tampa has is male nurses, but bgw has the creature.

-Shudders- That just seems really gross.

And I think the cut-off makes it less "Walking hair monster" and a little more "werwolf". So it would make a little bit more sense, in a way, that they react more to him with shorts than without? I don't know. I kinda prefer him with shorts as to without, just because it does break up the walking hair fest.

Pandora, you can find this years version of BGT's Fiends on youtube now in it's whole. It's A LOT different from last year. It has a completely different plot line now.

There's a bit of difference between a hairy chest and this.

I see the nurses being attracted to the latter. If they could make the werewolf outfit more human and less yiffy, I could deal with the part more.

RE: Fiends (2011 to Present)

Which makes the whole thing even creepier (These ladies want to do this monster in wolf form, I should get the police or ASPCA...).

The fear response last year made perfect sense and made the Nurses seem more human, which attributed to how great it was.

RE: Fiends (2011 to Present)

After seeing the show more than my fair share of times this season:

Wolfie's shorts are a vast improvement. He didn't have them the first weekend we went, but I love them when we went back.

When we went back on Oct. 5, The doctor was different. As opposed to popular opinion, I love this year's doctor. We were really displeased with his understudy. We decided to see it again, hoping he was back on Sunday. He was, however lacking energy. We suspect eh may have gotten sick, we caught him coughing a few times.

The show in which the doctor was back had a different vampire though, and I liked him much more though my fiance did not.

My fiance and I had a mutual conclusion that we do not like this year's Simplicity. She's not that good of a dancer and doesn't look like she's all that into the dancing. She must have been chosen for her to sing. The first weekend she was very, very loud though. Seemed like her microphone was turned down our second weekend though and much better.

We'll be going back on Oct. 27 and plan on seeing the last show for the season. Hopefully I'll come back with a terrible quality video, but a video no less.

Today there was a new stand in doctor. He was OK. They were also one nurse short. No problems with the microphones. Wolf still being rowdy and the crowd loves it.

EDIT:

Todd informs me that maybe he just cut his hair. I dunno. I can't tell. Guess I'm gettin' old. :p

EDIT:

There was indeed a stand-in for Freakenstein yesterday for the 2:00pm show. The regular was back today with his full head of hair. Guess he needed a break. :p

I wasn't there this weekend but last weekend he did seem to be pushing out of his face quite a bit. But like I said, we thought he may have been sick so that could have also been the reason.
