By far the best part of EitA is the music. I love that music!!! It's inspiring, it's beautiful, it's adventurous, it's sweeping, it's powerful...ah...and it's played to a horrifically boring and blurry video! Yeah! ;)

So I was home sick yesterday and while on the couch watching some movies, I saw a very familiar face in a Hanes t-shirt commercial.

Miles!

Went on this for a first in awhile and though I agree it has become more "jittery" at points and some of the images appear blurry at points, not the entire ride is like that. There are actually quite a few good spots. With that said, a ride should be consistently good and not periodically. I think this ride has lost that smooth easy rider appeal somewhat since it's debut, but still is a decent ride at best.

Decent?! Decent?! This is Busch Gardens Williamsburg! We are known for world-class, diverse adventures unlike an other experience to create an enchanting experience for young and old alike. We do not settle for "decent" at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, a true, world-class adventure. Decent is simply not acceptable for the level in which the park has been accustomed. Decent or not, an atrocity that lacks the mystical, old country spirit of the park itself certainly is not an attraction for the World's Most Beautiful Theme Park, in which it is put to shame by awe-inspiring experiences dominating the park. "Decent" junk like this does not inspire awe.

Europe in the Air, simply put, is that big candy bar you get in your Halloween basket, only for you to find out it's just the wrapper - the good stuff has been left behind. That's not to say it's horrible - things certainly could have been worse. Imagine if they had replaced Corkscrew Hill with Elmo & Abby Cadabby's Celtic-Counting Treasure Hunt. It's probably somewhere along the lines of Stitch's Great Escape at the Magic Kingdom. Fun, but when compared to Disney-level magic experiences, it's more like "a cheap coat of paint on a dented car [-Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World]."

But seriously. "Decent" is not acceptable at a place as magical as Busch Gardens Williamsburg. We need something to lift the area it resides in, as it is slowly but surely dying. An "okay" ride should not stand for what could otherwise be magnificent in its wake. Busch Gardens has been our escape from reality for decades, a place where everything is simply amazing and astonishing in every way: to mind, body, and even spirit! This is a mold that Europe in the Air simply lacks to a sad extent. The day "Decent" attractions take over the park is the day Loch Ness Monster is replaced by a used TOGO standup.

If you didn't figure out that I was sort of joking in the above rant, I was, though its meaning is 100% authentic. We shouldn't settle for a minimalist attraction for such an amazing place. Sorry about that, it had to be said ! I just found that even one of the only people who can side with the ride finds it only "decent" at best...not a good thing (no offense meant to you whatsoever, Party Rocker ;)! In fact, I'm on your side...). EitA has lost most of its hope...and it certainly could use the ax so it doesn't just keep squirming like it is. We need something to wow us!!!

~ My apologies. I couldn't help myself here...

It would go with the theme of Ireland. They would have to change it back to Hastings.

If they start installing rides that are deemed fun, without regard to theme, BGW will become just another Cedar Fair/Six Flags class amusement park that's only known for its rides and not for the overall experience. I'd rather have a park with a well-themed, immersive, high quality experience that everyone can enjoy than have a park that is only enjoyed by guests who like roller coasters and thrill rides.

Think of it like this, the park is supposed to follow the theme of the hamlet (in this case Ireland) however they see it fit that they can do bad things especially during special events.
