The ride system is basically the same. When it was built as Questor, the ride vehicle was a completely enclosed box, with the screen in front. Think Star Tours at Disney. The lowering walkways were there as well, you just never saw them raise/lower because the entire ride vehicle was enclosed. Same ride vehicle for King Arthur's Challenge. The seats themselves were changed slightly, I think between Q and KAC, don't remember exactly. They had a quite cool scale texture originally. When the ride was converted to CH, they made significant changes to the ride vehicle. I don't know personally if it was completely replaced, or if they just chopped off the top. At this point, the screen on the front of the vehicle was replaced by the large screen in the front of the room. AFAIK, the hydraulic system under the vehicle was not replaced.

I went on it last year in March for the first time. NEVER. AGAIN. Me and my 2 friends who are in the GP all thought it was awful. The movie was pictures that were panned across the screen with maybe 5 video shots. Disappointment.

The only reason I don't like the ride is because it doesn't fit the 18th century Ireland theme. It is more a modern ride. I like Corkscrew Hill because it had an Irish theme. I have waited 45 minutes for that ride and I decided to never go on it again.

How long do you think it will take BGW to replace it. Because I guarantee you they are having substantially low riding rates. I hope they replace it soon.....:dodgy:

Until they get their money's worth. Or until they find someone worthy to replace it.

In order for them to get there money's worth they will have to draw in riders "at the speed of fright." :p Sorry love my BBW.

That will never happen if it gets no riders. The way I see it, the money was all a lost cause. I would be happy enough to just see them bring back Corkscrew Hill, even if it had the same graphics. And for crying out loud, if they must keep it, at least get actual HD projectors. It does no good that the ride was filmed in 7X high-definition if they can't show it with the projectors. That makes less sense than watching watching Wizard of Oz on a black-and-white TV today!

Come one guys, Europe in the Air is not that bad, I think people trash this ride way too much. You can always count on it to cool you down in the summer. Now, I will say last time I rode it was last summer, I am going to ride it some more in hopes they did improve the graphics and motion that people say are the worst.

I honestly think the park may replace it after it has been around for 5 to 10 years, I don't expect it to be the longest running ride in the park but they aren't going to trash it right away. After all, it isn't as bad as Entwined. I do think if they decide to keep it then they need to work on theming the queue like the airport security line or something :p Imagine going through metal detectors, x-ray scanners, pat downs, etc. the whole 10 yards.

Now that would be worth it! ^ I know it's been talked about before, but is their a slight possibility a coaster could be placed in it?

It would have to be something along the lines of the Wild Maus, considering it really is such a small space, can check out the perimeter of the building via Google Maps, or whatever map site you like to use. Then if you ever went through 13 and observed right before actually going in at the size of the building, or bothered to look around more peculiarly going on EitA, you can get a guess of the inside area space. Honestly, I'd say EitA's building is a quarter of Vebolten's building. So I'm going on a guess saying no, I don't think it is possible.

But yeah, please my only request is make EitA's queue like airport security, and have people literally go through metal detectors one by one as the ride attendant counts each person as they go into the pre-show room. If the detector goes off, they just ignore it :p That is good theme right there!

Do you mean a virtual simulator ride in place of Europe in the air? Or an actual physical coaster?
