Well, I mean they already have it saying it's closed for the rest of the 2013 season on their website. Not sure how much more clear that can get.....

But as far as Mock Tower, just noticed a rule on their sign I hadn't noticed before.....No prosthetic legs allowed? What next? No dentures? No robotic arms? False eyelashes? lol I digress.....

Bahahaha!! That is the first thing I noticed, too! Never seen that before.


So... Has anyone considered the fact that EitA is sponsored by Aer Lingus...? The same airline that just happens to be going through a budget crisis...? They do not have enough money to pay their employees the agreed pension. They are currently deciding if they are going to go through with a 140 million pound settlement in the Labor Court of Ireland. Google it.

Prosthetic legs can fall off. If a prosthetic falls from 100 feet in the air, that itself is a hazard, let alone 245. Plus, your legs kinda work with the harness to keep you in the seat and if your legs fall off all you've got is your shoulders.

A few people have died on amusement rides due to losing their prosthetics, even in recent years, that's why that measure is in place. You'll see it on every Intamin and S&S drop tower, too.

Some sources have reported to me that team members were notified the night prior of the closing and have all been "forced" more or less transfered to other positions throughout the park. Just saying.

Let me be the voice of reason here.

This company has dumped (and continues to do so) a tremendous amount of improvement and money in the park. If there WERE severe budgetary constraints, they would most likely cut the fat by closing the park earlier, or opening later, instead note they open at 9 am most days this year, not shutting down a ride. If they are going to trim fat they would do so PRIOR to issuing an IPO, not after. Granted I always thought Europe in the air was a good ride, but the motion ride located there prior was better.

The ride shut down at the end of the fiscal year, June 30th, the most likely culprit is definately issues with Aer Lingis from a contractual point of view, they most likely lost their sponsor, Aer Lingis probably owns the right to the film hence the reason they shut it down.

That was a good guess, but all of the rights to the film belong to Busch Gardens, and InMotion Entertainment. So we can rule that out.
