I always felt that even if it was a good ride (tbh I've not had any issues with it when it was operating), the placement is dead center of a strip of land that makes it harder to put much else off the same size in there.

Other things besides rides could be put in that space such as a beer garden, food kiosks, or shops. The park has plenty of space for rides in general.

I drink enough in the park to know the bartenders by name so I'd generally be in favor of a proper beer garden, but are we really advocating the removal of a thrill ride for a beer garden?

There are plenty of places to do something similar without removing a ride, regardless of its recent downtime.

I understood what they said as putting the beer garden in the dead space next to Delirium, not ripping out Delirium for it and nothing else.

Would be cool if they added some crazy, unique flat like Canada's Wonderland has, that I would never ride, but would be impressive to look at. lol.

I wouldn’t be caught on some of the flats I see at Wonderland either.

Carowinds’ flat package for Aeronautica Landing had some mild thrill flats that were actually pretty fun. (Gear Spin anyone?)

I feel like most of Canada's Wonderland's big flat rides are primarily non-rider pleasers. From experience, Sledgehammer and Soaring Timbers (and (presumably) the new Tundra Twister too) look pretty crazy from the pathways, but aren't necessarily the most interesting rides. The only one in their collection that I'd really enjoy coming to KD would be the Gerstlauer SkyRoller.

100% count me in on Team Delirium Removal though. Terrible ride choice from the beginning, baffling placement, and the rest. I'd rather see a thrilling flat ride replace it (or just a 1:1 replacement with a Zamperla Giant Discovery), but I'd be all for a Aeronautica-style multi-smaller-flatride expansion as well. So many things to redo!😂

I am firmly on Team Delirium Stays.... unless we get a better thrill ride in its place. Super Air Race anyone?

The ladder tool box and restraint parts that had previously been visible on the platform are all gone and all but 2 chairs appear to have full restraints installed could we possibly see an opening in the near future?

Drop zone was still dead last July 4th and we saw it come back to life for Winterfest so all hope isn't lost.
Two years is a crazy long time for a ride that is still readily available to be down. It would be a different story if it was an 80 year old ride with out of date components you can't get anywhere, but that's not the case here.

Despite its age, that was the issue though, right? The vests were completely redesigned? so the ones it has are out of date?
