I always felt that even if it was a good ride (tbh I've not had any issues with it when it was operating), the placement is dead center of a strip of land that makes it harder to put much else off the same size in there.
I understood what they said as putting the beer garden in the dead space next to Delirium, not ripping out Delirium for it and nothing else.I drink enough in the park to know the bartenders by name so I'd generally be in favor of a proper beer garden, but are we really advocating the removal of a thrill ride for a beer garden?
There are plenty of places to do something similar without removing a ride, regardless of its recent downtime.
Preferably not Psyclone this time…..Would be cool if they added some crazy, unique flat like Canada's Wonderland has, that I would never ride, but would be impressive to look at. lol.
I am firmly on Team Delirium Stays.... unless we get a better thrill ride in its place. Super Air Race anyone?
Drop zone was still dead last July 4th and we saw it come back to life for Winterfest so all hope isn't lost.Guys, July 4th is Thursday and this thing is still dead.

Two years is a crazy long time for a ride that is still readily available to be down. It would be a different story if it was an 80 year old ride with out of date components you can't get anywhere, but that's not the case here.Drop zone was still dead last July 4th and we saw it come back to life for Winterfest so all hope isn't lost.
Despite its age, that was the issue though, right? The vests were completely redesigned? so the ones it has are out of date? Two years is a crazy long time for a ride that is still readily available to be down.
