Prior to this stage, the park kept making the original stage larger. During HOS and CT they added the long sides to the rising stage. That took up space. I feel that maybe a row a tables was probably lost directly after the new stage was built maybe.

I think over time with the rising stage getting 'add-ons' table space has been reduced.

I ate at the Festhaus this last Saturday and it was weirdly probably the best meal I have had at Busch Gardens in a long time. I shared the Festhaus sampler with my dad and everything tasted smokey and well seasoned (the chicken was especially good). We also split a piece of cheesecake that was absurdly creamy.

It was pouring down rain and most people had left the park already so I'm guessing staff had more time to prepare the food (not just pushing food out to feed the masses)

Agreed! The food around the park seems to be vastly improving, especially since Christmas Town.

Ate at Festhaus yesterday. I do like the sausage platter but I'm really not into all those sides. I just can't eat giant meals when it is 90 degrees outside. I really wish they'd offer a smaller meal with one sausage on a bun, and just one side instead of three. If I was splitting a meal, the sausage platter is good. Just too much for me by myself. I felt bad throwing out most of the sides because of it.

I think those are being moved to the new San Marco restaurant/bathroom complex.
