I find the ride jerky and rough for what it is no matter what I do, the seats are dogshit. Not ofc its not rough in a alpengeist sense but its deffiently not butter smootheHas anyone else noticed that a lot of the GP don't understand the straddle-coaster concept at all?? They'll ride DarKoaster sitting completely straight up, resulting in some whiplash and discomfort. Due to this much of the GP I've talked to think this ride is rough and jerky (which it isn't).
I have had the same experience, and I wonder if the compact layout contributes to it. On something like Wave Breaker at SWSA, which uses the same seats, I never have a problem with roughness.I find the ride jerky and rough for what it is no matter what I do, the seats are dogshit. That part on the Island rattles nowI have had the same experience, and I wonder if the compact layout contributes to it. On something like Wave Breaker at SWSA, which uses the same seats, I never have a problem with roughness.
Only issue I could see is ride envelope clearance but this would be a great change they should make down the road.Could this be retrofitted with Intamin's controlled spinning cars if they wanted to in the future? Doing so could make this ride fantastic with proper theming and possible lower the heigh limitation?
I saw some literal high school seniors chicken out of freaking Apollo's ChariotA kid earlier was having a literal panic attack on it. They stopped it like 3ft after it left the station. The kid was trying to wiggle out the seat and was just losing it
I don’t see how that’s a problem or how it relates to DarKoaster?I saw some literal high school seniors chicken out of freaking Apollo's Chariot![]()
It was the topic of being scared of rides.I don’t see how that’s a problem or how it relates to DarKoaster?
