What vitriol? I am simply saying from a guests experience that the smoke usually doesn't work and its a bad experience to be out of glasses. And it is someone's job to handle those things. .would you not agree? I did not name any names nor did I complain to the park. And no I do not have any direct knowledge of whose job that is. I have been a ride operator and attendant before so yes I know what a bored and inattentive attendant looks like

We should deliberate about this on the advisory panel. Seriously though, I did see anybody being singled out. It is perfectly normal for employees to miss minor details like replacing glasses on a light day. As for the fog, that is one of the ride's greatest mysteries.

The fog was great... you couldn't see anything until the next scene. Without it you just see the vehicle moving through a black painted corridor with nothing going on
 
The fog was never present in the corridor... it only ever shot a small bit out in the actual fireplace.

Way back when, before the fog was fixed in 2012 and before it stopped working, it used to have a constant stream coming up from the floor to the top. Now, when it does work or is on, like Thomas said, it's just a small bit that shoots up as he finishes saying "It's time to heat things up!"

I would be stoked if DarKastle got a haunted house, or a seasonal overlay. It's a shame that the originally planned house was scrapped. I wonder why they posted the sign when they did. Maybe we will see something more soon.

Maybe it's an "archaeological" dig to go along with Howl-O-Scream. If true, that seems like a stupid place for it though....
