I hardly even noticed it until I was at the end of the ride. It wasn't perfect, but it was revved up at the last scene. It made up for the problems they've been having all day with the first projection. One "stereoscopic layer" was frozen in time. (See what I did there?) The snow was hanging in midair. Otherwise, it ran great.

There are notable differences between some of the sleighs.

Each sleigh has its own on board computer to they all ride totally differently.

"Totally differently" may be a bit of a streach. They execute the same movements with different levels of intensity.

Can anyone explain why the emergency/handicap entrance door right before the pre-show is always kept open now? It really bothers me because it lets a lot of light into what is otherwise a pretty dark hallway and ruins the effect created by the blue windows.

The handicapped entrance is also the quick queue entrance. I assume that they keep the doors open so the team members can see that people are entering from that point. Maybe it was an issue before?

Thats just the first thought that popped into my mind.

Because people are going to think they went the wrong way, and are not allowed through the doors if they are closed. Simple.

The door's open, I honestly think there are other things to worry about with this ride. Like the pre-show door that seems like it will never get fixed...

I'd think it would make more sense to have a team member waiting at the Quick Queue entrance to guide guests along; however, I can only assume that would require them to have another person working which costs money.

Last I checked, there is a sign for the Fastpass entrance off to the side near the old radio booth. Its sorta hidden away in the trees so its kinda hard to see.

The preshow doors were kept open last time I was at the park because the lines were really short (walk on for the ride) but they were working as of mid-late June.

The door being kept open is simply a matter of preference for the pre-batch team member. Some will keep it open, others won't. If it's a busy day and you have Quick Queue and handicap guests constantly coming through I imagine it's easier to keep it open than to have to be constantly opening it.
