I had 5 reservations that I didn't use for today. If Busch only made it easier to cancel a reservation. I refuse to wait on the phone for hours just to cancel.
Oh, I know it was sold out. I was checking every hour all day because I felt like going in the evening but didn't have reservations yet.All I can tell you is that all three reservations showed what I screen shot and posted at about 1230
I am on my way from October fest to guest services and livid beyond words right now. I stopped an employee in a leadership shirt and asked them if they could assist me in getting my drink cup filled with WATER as I was feeling dehydrated and every line was now LONG. the response I got was if those lines are to long go to a giftshop and buy a bottle. Water cups in an outdoor venue with all the fountains shut down shouldn't be a hard thing to figure out. This is beyond poor service at this point!!!!A lot of people are complaining today, even me, about all the snack places being closed even Trappers. Right now it's about 30-35 minute wait for Fest house. Not a lot of happy people today.
Really should consider contactless bottle fillers instead of water fountains. Our OSHA consultants allowed us to install those as COVID-compliant upgrades from our water fountains at work. That’s better in the long-run anyway and about $1,500/piece.I am on my way from October fest to guest services and livid beyond words right now. Edit: $1,500, not $15,000 ?
I wasn't even asking for the cup I have the free refill cup that I had pre-purchased for 2020 and I wasn't even asking for that to be filled with anything but water. All I was asking for was help filling it up and only because I was actually starting to fill unwell in ways that I know happen when you are dehydrated. Had I been given the go buy a water bottle from a giftshop response from a normal employee I would have been angry but the fact that I openly sought out someone who's name badge and shirt identified as "leadership" leads me to believe I was talking to a supervisor of some form who should little to no interest in assisting a guest. The fact that I ended up filling it up from a bathroom sink out of need and then went off passed to guest services to complain. In general they're good, but I doubt you'd get v that commitment from a company trying to maximize profits and force you to purchase just about everything.
Same deal with a fast food place if you think about it - they all offer water cups if you ask but few make them easier to obtain than to purchase a beverage instead.

The difference is I wasn't saying that I was thirsty I was say and showing actual signs of dehydration which is the being of a medical situation. I don't expect every employee to be fully first aid trained but I would expect a supervisor to be able to at least tell the difference in an I am thirsty request and I feel dehydrated and am asking for help request. I got water and felt better in about 20 minutes but especially when dealing with a supervisor even a remote possibility of an actual guest health situation should ALWAYS be taken seriously. You're definitely right to be pissed, hopefully you didn't think I was saying otherwise.
But my guess is the supervisor you saw was basically saying 'what do you want me to do about it' because either they're told to push sales or they can see something as simple as your request would then be asked by everyone else thus making more work for them.
And although you can get tap water if you ask, they're trying to make you go through the same process as making a purchase so that by the time you're at the front of the line the display marketing will appeal enough to you that you reach for a soft drink or other paid beverage instead.

As far what could he have done escort me through an exit area to one of the stands to fill it, get on the radio that he had and arrange for a cup to be brought out, filled a cup from one of the employee coolers that I know are near all major areas. Offered to call first aid. Just a few examples that come to mind rather quickly.
I'm not saying the social reviews are wrong in this case, but usually it's the folks that want to vent with the rare folks that either rate everything or always want to give positive reviews where they feel is warranted that post anything.
A much larger chunk of the audience doesn't participate, which inherently makes the results incredibly biased and thus not particularly reliable for most business operations.
Again, not saying in this case they aren't true, but unless it's a very specific example that can be replicated it's hard to do much about negative reviews and thus further research data is much more useful and less biased.
I was not billed. Are you looking at your BGW account on Bank. The BGW account shows being billed but has the amount as 0.00.I just noticed i got charged this month, did they resume billing for everyone?
I've had way better experiences at SeaWorld in the past year. I'm wondering if they are putting more focus on the Florida parks because of a better incoming revenue stream. If I wasn't going to Sea World and Busch Gardens Tampa in October, I would be PISSED about my Platinum Pass - everyone is quite reasonably livid right now.
I think a large part of it is that just about everything corporate is in Florida so there are more eyes and more pressure to be on their game. Also the competition level is a lot more in Florida then VA and that usually brings out a higher preformence.I've had way better experiences at SeaWorld in the past year.
