Gut feeling is CF is closing chain wide but each park is getting their own announcement.

I think it is important to highlight that this new study has not yet been peer reviewed. So, the findings are only preliminary. It is possible that the methodology or results will not stand up to scrutiny.
True, but it is in line with SARS/MERS-CoV and I had little reason to doubt it. Plus there are very few peer reviewed articles on SARS-CoV2 right now. I've been searching Pub Med for treatment algorithms and the best you have to go on are anecdotal reports form China and South Korea and research done on SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV.

It a looks as if Cedar Fair did a unified announcement. I wonder if Six Flags and SEAS will do the same.

I was going to say it seems as only the large tourist destination parks were closing, and the regional parks were going to remain open.

Here is a comprehensive list of theme park and attractions closings and updates...

Looking at this link, it seems regional parks are a lot more hesitant to close. Likely because its going to hurt them the most.

Most Six Flags are closed starting tomorrow according to screamscape.
They're waving the white flag...(via Theme Park Insider)

"Now the Six Flags theme parks are announcing closures. Rain had closed Six Flags Magic Mountain here in the Los Angeles area for much of this week, but now the park has said that it will suspend operations until the end of March.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in the Bay Area and Six Flags Over Texas, outside Dallas, also have issued statements that they will suspend operations through the end of the month, as well. As noted in the comments, Six Flags America has delayed its opening through at least the end of the month, too."

That makes it seem like they're really making an effort to keep their parks open through this.
Looks like they're taking action without having to close. It will cover their backsides for lawsuits etc. without having to close. smart
