Now, once more, and under developed HoS idea pending more ideas and input.

Ok, what if the possible new maze in Oktoberfest(Bitten-House) could be tied to RoaE and Deadline? A botanist/herbologist/scientist is using the plants from his personal greenhouse/testing facility to make some sort of fear-inducing gas? He found the gas in Italy during the Deadline fiasco, and began testing it on plants. However, this created monsters and infected the staff. Now the insane/infected worker and the creatures roam the streets of Rhinefield and Oktoberfest. Deep in the woods, the Scientist's mansion is underattack from said creatures,while his personal servants and himself try and protect themselves from any possible infected,which could be you!

It would be something they could do with little refurbishment and plenty of costumes they probably either already ave or could easily make more of. It would be a cheap, yet fresh way to replace Bitten, and create some continuity for HoS.
 
I know there are quite a few Doctor Who fans out there.  Anyone?  Anyone?

It would be fun to place a blue police call box randomly around the park.  Moving it every week or two could add some fun as guests explore the park trying to spot it.  Perhaps a marketing tie-in with BBC America would make this possible or a regular police call box as pictured is probably iconic enough.

Thanks, Nic. I was unaware there was a Doctor themed topic elsewhere. I think it still fits under this broad idea thread. For my own safety? Good grief man, what happens on this forum?!? Will someone throw a rock through my window? ;)

There have been major issues in the past with off-topic Doctor Who references derailing pages upon pages of otherwise on-topic threads. That's not to say it will happen here, though. ;)

Also, welcome to the forums!

Okay, I'm not sure what to call this concept, and I just thought of it last night, and it's very similar to MANY other concepts on here, but here goes nothing.

Banbury
Get rid of London Rocks, the Union Jacks, the sign, the new music, and any other evidence that London Rocks ever existed. I would like to see a more authentic English musical with more drama.

Heatherdowns
The only thing that I would change here is to add more details about the legend of the Loch Ness Monster in Nessie's queue.

Kilarney
Remove Europe in the Air and either bring back an HD Corkscrew Hill or add a different Irish-themed ride.

The Wild Reserve
Remove the Pet Shenanigans theater and replace it with an animal exhibit.

Rhinefeld
Fix the Wilkommenhaus.

Oktoberfest
Either cover up Darkastle's show building or redo it to match the rest of the castle. Get rid of the butterflies.

San Marco
Bring back the ruin theming around Pompeii.

What about that vote happening in Scotland soon? What will the park do with the Union Jacks if Scotland votes to seperate?
 
The Union Jacks represent the United Kingdom, England will still be part of the United Kingdom, therefore the flags woulds still be appropriate.

But I do agree with Joe.
 
The "Union Jack" is an amalgam of flags of three of the countries that are part of the union, St Andrew's Cross (Scotland), St George's Cross (England) and St Patrick's Cross (Ireland); Wales doesn't have a specific representation in the flag. If Scotland secedes from the UK, I think that there will be a reconsideration of the flag since the "blue part" is the St Andrew's Cross of Scotland.

I saw it on the news. Apparently the current proposal is to turn the blue black on the Union Jack to mourn the loss if it does happen. So no, the flag wouldn't represent England, the park would have to find a way to change them, or just not have them all together(PLEASE).
 
Guys, what if BGW made a Spain Section past Festa Italia? They could have a GCI woodie (Name: Estampida) and an Intamin Blitz coaster like Maverick (Name: Iron Bull). They could connect it to Oktoberfest and even have a flat ride or two. That would be awesome.
 
Spain has been discussed repeatedly. It is my understanding that at one point New France might have been re-themed to Spain. Additionally I have heard discussion of Norway, Denmark, or Sweeden. (can't remember which.)

I'm not sure how you would expand past Festa without damaging the farm. As it has been discussed elsewhere today, that would be no beauno.

There was a Spain for FHP, that included a flyer. As for the New France retheme.... let's all just be happy that never happened as well.

FHP really is the only viable option for a new hamlet. Zachary and others came up with a great concept of killing RPT and placing a new hamlet there. Pretty sure those ideas are floating around here somewhere.
