Has anyone done dining with Rudolph and friends? It starts at 11:45 and says guests enjoy early entry into the park. We’ve never been to CT and are only going 12/28.

^Also, is it the Christmas dinner buffet, or the generic pizza buffet for 11:45 AM?

It looks like it’s the old Dining w/Elmo menu (carving station, pasta & salad bar, kid-friendly foods)

A bit late, but our experience two weekends ago (Dec 2) First, two weeks in and THIS bad, I can only imagine how much this will progress in coming weeks. Hopefully, the ticket thing will spread this out better and reports from this weekend will improve? So far it has only made what use to be previously decent days for us simply unbearable this time. Do NOT go on a Saturday. Worst trip EVER.

Crowd control, movement, or anything to alleviate the seas of people and baby buggy brigades? TOTALLY void. The park did NOTHING. Just as many bodies as they could pack in, take your money, and good luck suckers. We heard someone asking an employee how to just get out of the park. They just wanted to leave NOW. One could not walk and shows were at capacity before you could get to their area. Shoot, the first Gloria Saturday was closed for capacity in 15 minutes of opening the doors. Of course, it got worse from there. Trying to go show to show? A lost cause.

Imagine 200 PLUS people thru here.

We were surprised at the crowd levels on Sunday, as well. They weren't light, but they certainly weren't very heavy, either. The most people we saw in one place was in the Festhaus.

I was there on Dec 2nd so was one of the people in the large crowds that were mentioned above - going again this Friday night when it should be a bit colder and so maybe light crowds this time around.

The crowds were very light yesterday (12-12-2017). They were only using the France and England parking lots. None of the shows were full and there were plenty of empty tables in the Festhaus. The walkways were easy to navigate. The wait for Santa at 5:00 was only 15 minutes. Plus there was real snow. It was a glorious visit.

The weekdays in the second week before Christmas (the first full week Christmas Town is open) is usually the best time to go. Crowds are typically light. Unfortunately I have a large family who typically wants to go on a Saturday or when kids are out of school. Going with them means we're there on busier night.

We were going to go tomorrow, but no way am I paying $39 a person. So they can have their high priced tickets, we will find something else to do...

We are going on Friday and bought tickets on the 6th for $30 each, I don't know if price automatically rises as time passes or as more tickets are purchased and higher crowds expected, or a mix of both?

Hey everyone, I'm hoping somebody here can help me. I am looking for music that was playing France during the past two years' Christmas Towns. I did NOT hear it this year or else I would have asked my phone.

Basically, most of the music in France is identifiable as English carols translated. However, one song in the past was not. I have no idea what it was. I did find an old thread here that listed music from 2015, and it is not one that made the list. Is there a new list somewhere? Does anybody know which song I am referring to? I have been looking at other people's YouTube videos to try to find it, but it seems like almost all of them only have the 12 Days of Christmas or one of the easily identified ones. :/

Here are some of the French songs that play. I'm not sure if any of these are the ones that you are talking about since each of them have English counterparts. Still, you might be able to find it by searching these artists.

Au royaume du bonhomme Hiver (Winter Wonderland)- Marie Myriam

C'est l'hiver (Let it Snow)- Marie-Élaine Thibert

Père Noël arrive ce soir (Santa Claus is Coming to Town)- Marie-Élaine Thibert

Yes, although there have been mixed reviews on courtesy. For instance, I was told by a security guard (separate from the booth attendant) "There is no such thing as Platinum until 1:30 PM!" I spoke to some other Platinum pass members on that same day, and they were let in well before then. In other words, it still feels like everybody has their own rules, but it's not as bad as before.

In the end, I found myself waiting until 2 PM in the general parking plaza, but they did allow me to go straight to England, so at least someone was looking out for me.

[split] Daily Crowd Updates

I've been going to ChristmasTown every year since it started, but never went the week after Christmas. How busy is it usually during that week?
