Just to clarify that everyone is updated on the ticket prices:

Single Day Tickets are $32 In-park and $27 Online. Pass Member Tickets are $20 for guests and themselves. Fun Card is $32. The Christmas Town Pass is $25 and doesn't seem like the price will be raised as was the case in the past.

The current deal is for Single Day Tickets to be $12, a savings of $20. The tickets are only good for select days, essentially the first weekend, second sunday, third sunday, the first monday thru thursday of the first full week their open, the second monday their open, and the day before New Years Eve.

Quite honestly, having the days so scattered doesn't seem very logical to me. Typically these discounted tickets are to fill in slow days like sundays and maybe the early week. It just seems that for some of these days they threw darts and the calendar and went with it.

Well they DO have official attendance results for the last few years and they most likely looked back at each year, and the slow days, as a collective. Applying discounts to these days in particular creates a wee bit of logic toward where they aim their dart.

Not just discounts on slow days. Discounts for those who plan ahead to visit on a slow day. Good strategy to help even out the crowds, at least somewhat.

That is what I thought CK, I just wasn't sure. It's still pretty nice to be able to come through that entrance. Going through the toll plaza just seems so lengthy and exhausting.

Also worth noting it looks like the $12.00 tickets are only usable on certain days, am I reading that correctly?

That is correct. The $12 tickets are only available for purchase Nov 12-18 (online) and can only be used on the following days: Nov 21, 22, 23, 30, Dec 5, 7, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, & 30.

Right, but there are many days they will work. Only the busiest days are excluded and I'd prefer smaller crowds anyway. ;)

The Christmas Town $12 single-day ticket is redeemable on any one of the following dates: Nov. 21, 22, 23, 30, Dec. 5, 7, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22 or 30.

If I decide to get the $12 single day discount ticket, can I still use my annual pass for free parking and food/drink discounts?

Great, now another admin has jumped onto the four-character-posts bandwagon. :p

Would y'all prefer this:

"Yes, you should be able to use your annual pass to get all of the benefits you enjoy, during the main season, as long as it is not a Fun Pass. Last year, I used my Plat Pass for Preferred Parking through the employee entrance and discounts in the park."

Does anyone know the food prices at Trappers during Christmastown? I know there is some type of Christmastown platter but I can't remember the price. I'm guessing like $14? Also, does anyone know how much refills will be for last year's mug or the LR cup?

Typically, a platter is like no more than $18 or so. Prices I'd say are similar to regular season prices. Any cups not purchased this year will be $1.29, I would assume since it is still 2014 the London Rocks cup will still get $0.99 refills.

The park is advertising more than eight-million lights this year.... Is that another million more or something?

Last year they were advertising six million lights. So this year with eight being advertised that's a 33% increase. And that begs the question...where are they going to put two million more lights? Last year every hamlet was pretty well decorated with lights. Now a couple could use some more but that wouldn't amount to two million more. My guess/prediction is that they should decorate almost the whole section of railway from Festa station up to Caribou station as the stables area and behind the Festhaus park and the Festhaus was essentially barren last year. That will fill that section of the train ride nicely. Also I'd like to see some more lights from Wolf Haven up to the RR tracks at Aquatine. The green lights on the trees in that section were nice but more could be done. These things could account for a decent portion of the increase. Anyone else's thoughts/guess/predictions?
