You can get your ambiguous references at Miracles! Oh and I hate the hugging as much as the next guy, but seriously, the soundtrack and visuals in that show curbstomp every other productions'.

Any word on which rides will be open? The CT pass for Passholders is $25 right? I haven't done CT since 2010. Depending on finances, I may go.

Has any one heard of any BOGO offers for single day tickets coming this year for Pass Members at Christmas Town? We usually only make it once for it and try to give away our free ones to our family. Just trying to plan a little ahead.

Thanks for any and all replies.

This is second hand knowledge so infer as you will but I've heard through the grapevine that they are trying really hard to avoid BOGO or cheap Single day ticket offers. Apparently they really regret many of the deals that they offered the first couple of years because people now expect those offers and perceive the Single day ticket price as being too high because they were able to pay $5 at one point for admission.

Of course who knows what offers may pop up if ticket sales suck, but I wouldn't expect anything for the first couple of weeks.

The rides are listed on the site here.

Historically, Verbolten, the Skyride, the Train, and the flats are generally all that can operate in winter temperatures.

What makes Verbolten different from Alpengeist which was open before? Couldn't they open another or different coaster this year?

People have said Verbolten can withstand the colder temperatures compared to the other coasters. Also, I personally think that only having one open allows them to not upset as many guests. I believe that because if you say multiple will be open depending on the weather and we have a harsh winter and they are all closed most of the time people will be upset. However, if you only have one, people seem to understand that there is a very good chance they may not ride that because of the possibilities of being closed.

Alpengiest, Griffon, and Apollos Chariot can't operate in temperatures 40 degrees and less. Verbolten is a bit lower than that.

3pm Scrooge showing?

Shouldn't they let people in the park first?

Update...and the park opens at two. My bad.

For some strange reason, I have 2 visits to CT on my calendar around Thanksgiving. I've never been this early in the season. Are crowds light?

Last year the thanksgiving weekend crowds weren't bad. However, in almost every year before that they've been nearly unbearable. So it just depends on which way the cookie falls this year.

^ in addition to Matthew's response. The weather was cooler the weekend of Thanksgiving last year. Which kept the crowds low. I recall the Sunday after Thanksgiving last year having a high of only 40 degrees. I went that Sunday and it was glorious. There was no one there. Yet one week later and the temps rose and the crowds increased. Historically, the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving were wall to wall. I'll never go again on those days.
