You're not good at being funny.

Or maybe you aren't good at getting jokes that rely on words instead of pictures.

Anyone been since Christmas Eve? Wondering if the lights are fixed before I consider driving 2 hours to get there.
Thanks!

Y'all got that it was a joke?  Seriously?  The lyrics?

After living there for four months, I quickly learned that the 24/7 booze fest is just a false tourism shtick.

But I got the joke!

My last trip to the park for 2014 was yesterday (Sunday) and I have to say that my family and I really enjoyed being season passholders for the first time this year. I had 16 regular visits, 2 HOS visits, and 4 Christmastown visits. My KD passes are renewed for 2015 with 'dining' and we gladly received new passes for BGW from my family as a gift. I look forward to riding the new 'pasta flat' regardless of it's apparent suckyness. Thanks go out to the ParkFan's staff for keeping this site going. Regardless of what some people say, you guys do a great job :) I'm excited to see the new junk that our parks are putting in and yes, I'm more excited about one than the other. I'll leave you all with that and begin my 3 month 'off season' of coaster research and boredom. Happy New Year everybody and be safe.

It may be a $12 day, but I'm counting on people having other plans such as parties and get together's elsewhere for the new year and the park being relatively slow. Not necessarily dead but definitely not at capacity. At least that's what I'm hoping for as I am planning on going tomorrow as well

This past Sunday's number was 2,900 people around 3:30 with a projected 8,000. Overcast with occasional drizzle. A good day despite gloomy weather.

Friday and Saturday seemed like a tie on crowds. Maybe a few more on Friday? Virtually no people until after 5pm each day. Worries of a massive crowd with the great weather never bothered us. We've seen worse.

Festhaus was standing room only for dinner Saturday, but we didn't have a problem seeing anything we wanted nor navigating walkways. We took the opportunity to take some photos with very few people in the way.
