I thought it was well balanced, but leaned more toward the 'we are Christians' side. But this opinion comes from somebody who takes no offense to anything religious. Not being religious, and being offended by something religious, are two completely different mentalities. I think the park did well for the event. The next guy might not.MrLaptop said:It makes sense. However, what was your opinion of it in general? Too much? Or balanced?
Matthew said:Coming from my viewpoint, I think CT has enough religious aspects to it. It provides something for people who are Christian to enjoy for what they celebrate the holiday for. And, honestly it gave me the vibe that Busch Gardens does believe there can be two aspects to Christmas in the same place, which seems to be becoming something rare in big public places. All this coming from a Christian, I just don't understand how a show that your not in any way forced to see, a nativity scene, and some non-secular Angels can ruin your whole experience of an event that has multiple aspects to it.

Edit...Sort of like an Epcot for the Godly.
Jonquil said:Then we could have a park-wide hamlet war, each hamlet trying to seize territory from the other hamlets, or one hamlet could try to forcibly convert the other hamlets. There could be intra-hamlet Crusades...
