^ Just like last night! Natch tower ran a few hours then was down for the night,as anticipated by anyone who knows that ride haha

I actually like the London Rocks themed Christmas music. It was playing inside the Globe Theater lobby and there were some speakers inside that tree, I believe.

Honestly, I really don't want to be on a roller coaster in weather like this. The wind in my face feeling is awesome in July. It sounds horrific when the temps are near freezing. I road Griffon one CT, when it was warmer, and it was really, really cold.

^Exactly. If you've ever ridden a roller coaster when it's sprinkling outside, not pouring, it feels like little needles are being flung at your face! Riding in the cold is very uncomfortable, with that icy air blasting you in the face. Verbolten in the cold is one of the worst--you go from the nice warmth of a building to blasting into the frozen air of the night in seconds. That'll wake you up, alright!

EDIT: I can see the "Facebook-ers" now:

Sally, Week 1 (30 degrees): "I am outraged that Busch Gardens would close two of their biggest rides without any warning for a reason nobody cares about! We paid good money to get into the park! I can't believe what a ripoff these thieves are pulling."

And now...

Sally, Week 2 (36 degrees): "I am outraged that Busch Gardens would allow us to ride two of their biggest rides without any warning of the pain it would cause! My daughter and I could not stop shivering for the next two hours. I can't believe the park is willing to endanger their guests like that."

Now, those are both hypothetical, but this is the type of hypocritical nonsense that goes on all over the park's social media. ;)

So, I have to admit I was rather impressed with the Queen of Aquitaine and her court, but they did give off a strong WTF? Vibe. People weren't sure what to make of them. They were doing a nice job of interacting with the crowd, getting pics taken, and wishing people Merry Christmas in French, but kids and families looked generally confused, like "what does this have to do with Christmas?"
