We can argue the cost/value all we want. I choose to look at the admission price as a gift; and I certainly feel that I am owed that. In any event, I'm going. This way, I have MORE of my money to spend on things other than getting into the park. Yummy food, hot chocolate, that hot drink in Rhinefield (gluwein?), and other Christmas crap. I think it will turn out better than some are thinking. And if you truly think you should pay more for your ticket, feel free to donate the difference to the animal fund or something. I'm sure they will appreciate it. :p

My opinion is simply, Christmas Town is much more of an outlet mall in a theme park. Now that you get in all season cheaper, you will spend more.

It was bound to happen that that they were going to offer a Winter Fun Card or include the Annual Pass in someway or another. I think this product, just offered to pass holders would increase the happiness of their most loyal guests to make up for all the crap they dealt with during summer.

I think this is a step into the right way plus since many coasters and rides aren't operating and they may have less, they shouldn't charge any more than $40 per single day ticket and/or WInter Fun Card.

Login to the pass member area from the main Busch Gardens Williamsburg site. You should see the Christmas Town tickets listed at the top. Once you purchase your pass, the link goes away. One per member.

I just thought, what if you paid for your pass, then throughout the year you can select to pay for a pass for HOS or CT. This pass would only be available for pass holders so the GP wouldn't be able to purchase it.

Of course the regular pass would have to decrease in price, because of the extra charge for which event you choose or both.

It's only available to pass holders and not the general public. You must have an annual pass to purchase the CT pass.

But for how long is it Pass Member exclusive is the question that needs answering. If it goes GP then it's going to be "Christmas Mayhem" not "Christmas Town."

Still a great deal but the park being to capacity every day is a possible side effect of this Promo if it goes GP and has the potential to take away the charm and atmosphere of this event.

Just my thoughts.

Last year they did a flash sale promo for CT tickets that was a disaster (servers crashed, people at work couldn't take advantage of it, etc). This limited time deal is much better for those pass members who want to go to CT more than once. Got mine!

Please explain to me, where does it say it is a limited time deal? It looks like it will be made available to any pass holder until everyone gets one.

I'm okay with that, considering the way things have been going: the fewer changes, the better.

Very true statement!

Plus Holiday Hills was a very big addition last year, so I'm not surprised. However, Christmas town is always a joy!:)
