I don't like getting into the finger pointing drama, but this direction they are taking things is the antithesis of "the olde country". We'll see how it turns out. I hope it's ok, it's hard to mess up Christmas decorations!

Big ticket price increase!

Last year, the 3 day ticket was $35. Now, it's $50! A 43% increase!

The general public 3 day ticket is no longer listed

They do have the CW bounce ticket still, for $56.80. I guess this is actually a better deal than the $50 CT 3 day ticket, even if you don't step foot in CW, as the CW bounce ticket includes parking, (unless you are squeezing 9 people in your car... if I did the math right)

Edit: forgot how much parking was.. make that a better deal unless you squeeze 7 in your car

Got my CT pass printed today. yeah!!

I have been thinking about this cost/value thing ALL day long. I have talked to many friends (who are not pass holders) and come to the conclusion that this offering could be VERY good for the park in the long run. I know a LOT of folks who frequent the park, particularly during CT who would find having this unlimited pass attractive. Since they would have to be a Pass Member to qualify, they would need to purchase the season pass (two park, single, platinum or whatever) in order to purchase the CT pass. Aside from the reasons I have covered in a previous post, this could potentially bring in more money to the park over a longer period of time. More pass holders spending more money at the park. Unlimited CT access. Seems like everyone would come out ahead on this deal. I hold even stronger that this was a good move. We shall see.

You would be surprised...
I agree. Perhaps this is something that will grab the park's interest for décor this year...

I have to agree with tursiops on this.

If you look at HoS, the decorations have to be good enough to create an eerie atmosphere, anything besides that *coughpartycough* and it defeats the purposed of Halloween.

Christmas is a holiday about joy and whatnot, so all you have to do is put lights on everything, do wreathes and angels and crap, and you're done. Not to mention that Scott's area of expertise is making everything extravagant and fabulous, so it's hard for him to mess up CT.
