!!IMPORTANT QUESTION!!: How is the buffet in Festa? I need the breakdown. What's on it? Is it tasty? Should I bring my own bottle of ranch? Pics? Something. Anything.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's a buffet. Anyway, here's the menu:

Well crap. I though someone mentioned they were having a buffet back there?

And...How were the changes in Verbolten? Did they actually do anything?

Nope, nothing changed.

Typical.

I saw a few trees not working, which by the way, people have been trying to sabotage Christmas Town this year. Duh duh duhn.

...but no shocker the overflow lots were used.
At what point were they sending cars to overflow?

Speaking of things not working is it me or was the giant Santa Claus in Polar Pathways not lit up like last year?

Also, from the back of the Christmas Town map:

"Mach Tower will operate in a scenic mode, offering panoramic views of Christmas Town. Riders should be aware that circumstances may require that the ride be released in normal mode."

Wouldn't that be something? Relaxing and gentle descension turned instantly into a free fall! What would warrant this change? Fire, low-flying planes, a flock of south-bound birds, Santa Claus & low-flying reindeer, aliens or just the random change to give guests a real thrill???? Just curios ;) .

Do to various extremely sensitive sensors throughout the tower, if one is tripped the ride is automatically stopped and Matainence will do an emergency release of the train down the tower to get the folks off. It's happened a couple times at Busch.

Just to let everyone know, it sounds like the park opens at 1pm today and then 3pm tomorrow. From what I understand, they're setting opening times to match crowd predictions so the opening times may be a good way to predict crowd levels. As for next weekend, 3pm on both Friday and Sunday and 1pm on Saturday.

I'm glad CT is good this year( according to you guys) After the way HOS went I was thinking CT would go the same way. But it looks like the park has learned it's lesson and made an outstanding event.

Thanks for making me laugh so hard I spit water out. The park had four weeks of downtime to prepare for CT plus items that were put in and/or prepped backstage while HoS was ongoing. I see this as no lesson to be learned anywhere but a better schedule to work with for an event turnover.

Explain, por favor.

Deck the Halls and Miracles are both SUPERB. Gloria is still the low point in my opinion, but that in no way means it's a bad show.

Perhaps the park should put Scott in charge of just the special seasonal events...

Agreed 100%.

By the way, I don't know where the park is finding all this talent, but all the shows seem to have an even more impressive lineup of performers than even this year's Howl-O-Scream shows did. Also, both Deck the Halls and Gloria seem to have massive casts. Nice to see that entertainment budget going to entertainers rather than mascot outfits.

That impressive line up comes from them advertising in just about every college theater program on the east coast.

Hope you enjoy it Evan!

Maybe Entwined will see some much needed improvements next year?

Oh no he didn't mention ENTWINED in the Christmas Town thread! ;)

Does anyone remember if they had these green hot chocolate mugs last year or just the usual red and white ones?
